Thank you for all the replies. As you see from the picture I did have one at one time. Fellow made an offer I could not refuse so I let it go. Only had for 6 months and less than 5k miles. Only issues was the rear window leak.

Looking at possibly getting another one but you never know. Once again, thanks for your time and replies.
I'm on my second Gladiator after serious sellers remorse and my kids begging to get back into the Gladiator game (literally every day). After dinner tonight we walked out to our JT and there was a duck sitting on my door handle.

Bottom line: life is more fun owning a Gladiator.

Don't put yourself out. I would leave it for someone else who will be loyal to the brand and not sell out. Do yourself a favor and go get a Taco. It sounds like your type of vehicle.
Brand loyalty isn't for everyone. You make it sound like it's a must have. To be honest that's the oddest thing I've heard in a while. As I've said before if I didn't wheel I would seriously question the value of owning a jeep anything. Now, because I wheel, I absolutely love my rig. I am 100% loyal to my rig; but the "brand", the brand can kiss my ass. They could care less about me.

No one can answer this for you
With pages of issues to read about, Jeep marking down Gladiators up to 13K. Are Jeep Gladiators worth having?
Umm do you really want random strangers to tell you what is “worth having” in your life? What a silly thread to post.

With potatoes being potatoes is worth buying potatoes to eat potatoes?

This is my first Jeep I have always been a GM guy. I bought a new 23 Overland.I never plan to go off road unless I have to drive it on my lawn for something, probably will never take the doors off or get big tires but I do not regret owning it.Fun to drive and the ride is not terrible and interior road noise is not that bad either. In a nutshell I love it!

I think this depends on what you are looking for really.
It is what it is and is what it is not.

Not sure its a good vehicle if you don't plan on wheeling or taking the top and doors off on a regular basis. At 53 years of age I have owned a lot of vehicles. Currently 2 of them are a JL Wrangler and a JT Gladiator. They have been nothing but trouble whether its the paint, engine, electronics, clutch, dealerships, you name it. I'd quantify it as an abject disaster. That being said the vehicles are unstoppable off road and the ability to easily remove the doors and roof, upgrade them, modify them and completely customize them really do make them a unique pleasure to own, despite Stellantis's best efforts. Its like dating 5 supermodels at the same time; sure, there are a lot of headaches, expenses and logistical complexities but sweet jesus it would be well worth the trouble.
I'm on my 7th Jeep. Interestingly enough, the most reliable vehicles out 40 something cars I've owed at the same ages as you have been Jeeps. The current JTR only issues were the batteries. That's it. On a new 2013 WK2 we owned for 10 years the only thing we did was a battery after 8 years and the oil pressure switch. The 2 minis I had were clutch headaches, 5 BMWs were 2 were trouble free. The other were nightmares. I feel lucky with my Jeeps.

Wow 4 pages of comments?! Here’s my $.02. Back in 2019, as dealers were loading up with new Gladiators, that were seemingly only available in high trim levels, but in such high demand at the least there were NO deals, or at worst “market adjustments”, that really turned me off. At the same time we owned a 2016 Colorado Ext Cab 4x4, Z71, with every option, but after retirement we only needed one vehicle, but would have to be a real 4 dr, with seatbelts for 4-5 in comfort. The first time we looked at a new Gladiator we both wanted one, but couldn’t justify spending over $50k? Still without any type of OnStar/ SOS/911 system till over $55k! So we enddd up with a 2019 Colorado Crew Cab 4x4, Z71, V6, loaded with every option as a left over for just under $39k! That was a great tow and commuter vehicle, till our customary 70k trade in time. Then we found the Gladiator not only didn’t have market adjustments, but a Sport S locally had a $15k markdown!!! So we traded for a 2024 Spirt S in Chrystal Granite Metallic, hardtop, automatic with Convenience Package and safety package, featuring heated seats and wheel, adaptive cruise control, rear traffic warning, LED lighting everywhere but unfortunately headlights, most importantly the 12.3” touch screen with UConnect SOS/911 Emergency system, 4 G LTE WIFI! Black cloth interior nicer than the Colorado. Now overall quality and build is higher than the Colorado, ride is better, brakes are also amazing, but handling not quite as tight and precise as the Chevy. But the new Colorado has some issues I didn’t like, plus was over $44k, with a low range 4x4 system. Oh the 3.6 in the Colorado also with an 8 speed had a little more power, towing, unless you have Max Tow in your Gladiator that I don’t. But that’s why the ride is better. Let’s see when I get Bilstein 5100’s in. The headlights are fine now with Firestorm LED’s. The only LED’s in a Colorado are those YOU add.

It's all matter of opinion. I wouldn't be caught dead in a Tesla but some love them.

A Gladiator is great for my mid-sized needs and I wanted a "US made" truck but demand a stick-nowhere else to go. It was an adjustment from a 4-door 2002 Sonoma 4 X 4. I am quite at home now and my wife likes it too. The unique ability to take bits on and off for fun is pretty cool!

Can I tell you it is "worth it"? Nope. but it works for me.

My wife said we were through camping - it took over a year, but I finally sold the 5th wheel and my 2017 Ram 3500 DRW flatbed. I didn't wait but bought my 2023 diesel Gladiator Nov 23. Enjoyed the Gladiator - even if it's been at the dealer for over a month waiting on a new steering wheel (resulting from recall). Anxiously awaiting its return!!

The little 4-cyl Renegade "Loaner" sucks - hardly much of a jeep.

All vehicles fill a particular niche, but none are a perfect fit for everyone. After 3 months with my Mohave, I am amazed at how well it works in total. I have driven it on I-40 for 600 miles at 75 to 80 mph and found it to be good but not great doing this. It is easy to park and drive in traffic when going shopping or used as a daily driver. Where it truly shines, is on forest service roads where speeds are 1 to 40 mph. I can cover long distances on fast roads, rock crawl with ease when needed, fit between trees on narrow 2 tracks, and do this in real comfort. I quickly realized that I own a very special truck. I never thought of buying a Gladiator because of the crazy high prices, but when I saw my Mohave X advertised for $53k, I drove to Phoenix to see if this was legit and to test drive it. I am so glad I did that.

I was using sarcasm and cynicism to drive home the point of someone asking that question on here. IMHO opinion if there are doubts then get a Taco. If there is not a thing as brand loyalty there is no Jeep . No Jeep No brand. .
