I work pretty closely to new commercial vehicles.Everything I've read on the EPA bullshit is regarding commercial vehicles, not passenger.
Theres also crap out there about removing DEF and the ability to disable a truck due to incorrect or low DEF, but thats only for commercial trucks that operate north of the 59th parallel.
Everything I've seen, we are headed straight for EPA 2027 engines that are more complex with more emissions systems than they have now. Maybe it will come to pass that they won't derate when emissions act up, but that's about as far as I'm going to hold my breath.
