The new grille, in my opinion,
has contributed in part
to the decline in Gladiator and Wrangler sales.

The iconic Jeep grille bars
have been obfuscated.
The headlights are transitioning
into the grille opening
further contributing to grille dysphoria.

Stelantis cut off their face despite their nose.

If you miss the grille bars on your '24
The 2024 grille is interchangeable
with previous JL grilles.
I'm not 100% certain about that because I have been looking to get a black '24 grille and have yet to find someone that is willing to trade theirs for a black '23 grille.

No, it's THE PRICE. They jacked up prices so high that they shut out a massive segment of their market. Even back in 2019 as the were creeping into the mid $30ks it was having an impact on their customers' ability to afford them. Now they're just plain ridiculous.

The ONLY reason I bought a Gladiator is I got almost 30% off msrp. And it was STILL expensive at that price. The sticker on this thing was almost $63k. It's nice, but in no way is it $63k nice. It's absurd. There's a $25k GREED premium at least.
If you want your feelings hurt, go ahead and look up the KBB on your truck. Just think about how bad off you’d be if you had paid sticker.

The problem with Jeep might be bigger than Jeep. All the car makers are having units rot on the lot. Our future is unclear to many. To many, our world and the economy is about to crash. All we would need is another covid 19 to shut everything down again and we would be done. A V8 or diesel is not going to change things much. For now just enjoy what we can do and go do them.

The competition is getting way better with the introduction of the Bronco. The Bronco and options are killing the Wrangler, Jeep got lazy and they are paying for it now!

Finding someone willing to do that trade is a significant challenge

Every other truck in the market produces more power and torque than the weezy JT. No offense here, but the truth is the truth. GMC Canyon /Chevy Colorado- 310HP/430LBS torque, Tacoma- 326/465, Ford Ranger 315/400, Nissan Frontier 310/281. JT a measly 285/260. Bottom of the barrel numbers. If Jeep wants to sells more Gladiators, put a real engine and not a minivan one.
At the time the JT was announced/released, the Colorado's gas V6 was 308/275, the V6 Tacoma 278/265, the Ranger 270/310, the V6 Frontier 261/281, and the Ridgeline 280/262. With 285/260, the JT was very competitive at the time.

Problem is, as you point out everyone else has caught up or surpassed, while Stellantis sat idly by (and funneled Jeep revenues to help their European divisions).

Keep in mind, though, that the Colorado, Tacoma, and Ranger are all now turbo I4 engines.

I was shopping to trade my F150 4x4 for a small 4x4 truck and this is exactly how I ended up in a Gladiator earlier this year.

Yes! There can never be a happy customer.
To be fair it was written like you were taking about a Maybach. You compared the closing of the door to a Swiss watch (presumably a Tissot cause these doors aint Rolexes)

Well considering that Jeep was running a 4 speed auto in the JK until 2012 when there were vehicles with 7 and 8 speed automatics, I wouldn't be surprised if they kill the JT before an engine upgrade comes along.

I've seen some Tissot auto watches that look great. I own two automatics, an Oris Williams F1 and a Victorinox AirBoss. The last time I wore either was more than a year ago since I mostly wear an Apple watch for convenience.

Always loved the Oris Sixty-Five but never got one. My favorite watch brand is Sinn. My U1 is built like a tank and despite all the daily beatings it's taken in 7 years still looks mint. Their tegimented technology is unmatched.

First time I hear about Sinn. Just took a look and I liked what I saw. The 356 Pilot Classic Anniversary is very nice.
