It was the Wrangler that sold that many units, not Gladiator.
I get that now, but something other than that was conveyed in the post I was quoting, which said "the JT isnt just struggling 266k+ sold is impressive," without mentioning the Wrangler.

From the article: "Burnett said his store is selling 15 to 25 Gladiators a month, which isn’t far off from its numbers for the Wrangler and light-duty Ram."

So... it's fine?
If they sell anywhere near the numbers of Wranglers and RAMs it will be a success.

I understand. It took me a few minutes to figure it out.

I just went through all 25 pages on that click-bait link, and the Gladiator doesn't appear at all. What gives?
They sold some trucks in a competitive market. Most of the midsize didn't make the list either. Toyota was the only one.

True. And it seems like the first Gladiator sales (aside from some limited early activity) occurred starting more than 1/3 into the year (May), and the sales/buying activity didn't really ramp up until arounds October. The first one I ever saw was in early August. I think I first heard of the Gladiator project was in late spring. The full 2021 will tell a more-accurate tale--one way or the other.

I am not struggling with my LE Gladiator. i live, i drive i am Jeep. no JD Powers interview, no consumer report review, no Road n Track article. I am the White Knight who has only been on five Jeep Jamborees, one more in October at Moab, that will be with my Gladiator and may struggle there; however, bet that will be fun. Not much experience with Jeep I guess, or to know any better, well to know of a better vehicle that is. English words how crazy. Anybody know what I mean, like that even matters, And lovin it. Thanks for the classic line Don Adams. "Get Smart" Thank you Jeep for the Amo.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport and a few motorcycles. :)
I work at a multi-brand dealership that sells the big 3 including Jeep products. What we're seeing is very positive with the Gladiator. Sales with the Colorado were really slow when it came back out and more recently we've seen the same with the Ranger. Consider that both of those models have a history and were comebacks, the Gladiator is all new. Ranger sales have really taken off this year and we're restocking as fast as we can. We're still trying to figure out the best strategy with the Gladiator and where we are seeing the most sales are in the lower trim levels with people wanting to build their rigs. The leasing on them is insanely good, under $300/month with no down for 15k miles/year is unheard of for anything in it's class. I think a lot of it is in educating the customer that it's not just Wrangler with a bed but a unique platform on it's own.

They aren’t, that’s the point, the Gladiator sales are officially in the tank!

260K is not for the Gladiator, as discussed above.
