For me it was the opposite - turned down the service manager position at Bud Mulcahey's in Des Moines years ago and have had Jeeps for years and bought more than one from Buds (before they closed or I'd still be buying them there)

When it gets here, it'll be MY first Jeep proper. My wife has a JKUR, and I drive it. I've had all manner of off road oriented vehicles in the past though. 4Runner, FJ40, K10, M1009 CUCV, and a handful of others. The JT is the first Jeep that checks all my boxes.

Fist “real” Jeep here. I drove a Commander XK for a while and my pops has a 99 XJ I’m dailying nos that I sold my rig sold over the weekend and I’m waiting for my JT to show up.

My first Jeep. Always wanted one, but needed the utility of a truck bed for my hobbies.

Am enjoying my 21 Gladiator sport more and more- is more nimble than my Ram. My wife will drive the Gladiator ( if I let her) where she refused to drive the Ram- “too big”

Gladys was my first Jeep, first truck, first convertible.
Its been very fun and useful. Its the perfect size for me.
Only thing that sucks about it is the fuel mileage. But our other vehicle is a plug in hybrid, so I feel a bit better about my environmental impact.

Had a Cherokee rigged out for a deer lease vehicle. Still own a ‘57 Willys I picked up in the early ‘80’s.
