Agree. Basically $840 for aux switches.

What is so "offroad" about this package?
It's meant to be a budget friendly option to the Gladiator, without having to spend the money with a Willy's or Willy's Sport trim. The upgraded suspension and tires are a big help with getting off road, and the upgraded battery, alternator, and aux switches are for the accessories that will be added. For a beginner or budget minded person, this package is a great option.

Why are tires and wheels each listed as 2 line items?

To make the list look longer, or are there actually 2 options for each in this package?

Anyone know what the "upgraded" suspension consist of? Sit a bit taller, softer springs, etc?

The Willys gets rubicon suspension doesn't it? I don't think it's a bad deal if you're not going to immediately upgrade your own tires anyways and I'm sure the wheels will look better than the stockers. Easily worth $900.

@12psi Always good to hear from you!

honestly, the mud tires are the worst part of the willys package.
Beyond that, aux, unspecified suspension upgrades, and black wheels for $900? not terrible, but who really wants those tires?

IMO, this is a better way to present this information:
The Off Road Group includes:
- BF Goodrich 32in LT255/75R17C Tires
- 17X7.5 black aluminum wheels
- Sport Suspension
- Aux Switches
--- 700 Amp maintenance free battery
--- 240 Amp Alternator
It doesn't list tires twice, or wheels twice, and makes it much more obvious that the battery and alternator are already a part of the aux package instead of misrepresenting them as standalone upgrade.

So instead of huge rebates they’ll Likely start adding special packages at steep discounted rates……
That would accomplish an accounting trick of hiding lost monies due to rebates and shifting them to a write off elsewhere
Edit: fat finger bad spelling

Is it though? IMO a Sport with Max Tow package ($1k more) would be $$ better spent. 4.10 gears, wide axles and rear limited slip would be far more beneficial for off-road use. Plus you get increased engine cooling capacity and a hitch along with the 240 alt.

2022 started the 700cca battery and 240 Amp alternator standard almost positive, atleast thats what my 22 sport with nothing but SXM added had. along with it keeps the same sport suspension, the only change is Aux switchs included on a sport (non-S) and you get 32" tires. Which may be KM2's like the willys, or even just KO2's, not enough details here.
