@PAULIEWANKENOBI does the noise happen only when turning on bumps (sway bar links)? Does it happen on any speed bump, straight or turning(do you have a hitch in the receiver?) Some hitches need a shim if you leave em in

shoot a video if you can. I know it’s a noise and you can’t find it, but the video may help you describe it better even if it’s just the sound that’s my opinion. never know could be the toy your kid dropped behind the seat back. Against the bed

This comment reminded me of a Trailm8r vid where the someone had incorrectly disconnected the rear sway bar by removing the frame bolts.

and then, what about those little tabs where the rear end links connect to the frame? I’ve seen a few of those broken, and I think metalcloak sells a reinforcement piece.

I had a GM crossover eat my lunch one time that turned out to be the sway bar * bushings*. This little turd had tsb’s for rattles on literally everything. I removed and replaced stuff, swapped parts off of other cars, bounced through pot holes in a friend’s shop’s parking lot with everyone working there strategically stationed around the holes listening for the rattle. This car started out as someone else’s cluster fuck so I went through and defected out most of the parts that had already been replaced. I got on the rack and went through the front end with a pry bar, again, and then I yanked out the bushings. They were a real SOB to get out. They looked Ok but they were out so the old ones weren’t going back in. After the usual screaming contest with the boss over replacing supposedly good parts I got a new set. Surprise,surprise! The problem went away! After that, if it got links, it got bushings. Hey, it only took a week to figure it out, after the other tech had it for close to a week and then laid out so it would get passed off. ?

Your post is a good example that just about any issue given enough time and expense is solvable.

The problem in the OP's case is that it is warranty work and the dealership has only so much time to charge for diagnostics that is reimbursable from Stellantis without further authorization. Warranty system only seems to reward stuff that is hard broke and physically evident.

I had the same issue. Turned out to be a shock bushing. At 18k. I just rolled 23k and about to go in for another. Jeep handled it without an issue. I’m not a fan of the quality of the Fox shocks…at all.

I am still waiting for my shocks to be replaced. This has been since 01/23. I have had 2 Jeep customer care reps, 3 different service writes, and service manager and the parts manager involved. I didnt even get part numbers until september or october. I have dropped my jeep off 3 times under the impression they had parts and yes all 3 times they said they had parts in hand.

They had to reset my rear springs since they were not installed properly on the perches. one was replaced because the insulator was defective and falling off.

Mine too. I had a left (drivers) side rear squat that was approx. one inch lower than the right side.

Ask if the service department has a tool called “chassis ears”? It’s a junction box with several clamps that are also microphones. You clamp them to several places under/in the vehicle. The separate inputs go to a junction box that has a switch to control the signal/sound to headphones. Drive, duplicate noise and listen. Pinpoint via a “getting colder (quieter), getting warmer (louder). Adjust clamps and repeat until you reach the source.

I haven’t read all the responses. But the sound of something rolling when you drive around at low speeds might be a small rock or a loose bolt that got inside the frame or caught on a skid plate. You only hear it a low speeds because the noise probably gets drowned out at higher speeds.

I agree with others that dealers HATE chasing down vehicle noises. They are extremely difficult to locate, suck a ton of time, and usually yield very little results.
