Having rode in a 3/4 ton Ram - I'd take the Gladiator on a daily drive.
Our 2500 was pretty comfortable on the highway, but road like a lumber wagon as soon as we took it off-road. As you alluded to, the Gladiator rides fairly nice compared to the Ram HD in stock form. As we've discussed, special purpose vehicles like the Gladiator and Ram HD have an intended design and purpose. And that's what we bought it for. It was our designated tow rig.

I bought my gladiator because I liked the fact it didn’t drive straight/easily. My gladiator is my daily driver. I enjoy my DD to be a little raw. Before my gladiator, I was dailying a ‘21 mustang GT. Gladiator is completely different but, both are relatively raw as a daily

That's one thing I enjoy about the Gladiator. At low-speed operation, I can hear the diesel clatter. Our 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel has the same engine, but it's not very diesely sounding due to all the firewall insulation and quieter cab design.
Surprising thing is I have the 3.6 but it does have a “truck” sound to the engine tone. Not sure what exhaust is on it. Pretty sure it’s aftermarket but I’m not touching it unless I can do something super fancy on rerouting. Absolutely love the engine/exhaust sound I have now.

Good info in that interview. My main takeaway:
“underneath that it is still a four-door Wrangler.”
Yep, no Mr Fusion, no long travel IFS... Just a few key things they can quickly source and slap on something they already make.

Knowing sourcing and lead times, wouldn't expect to see a Scrambler in production before next summer.

Knowing sourcing and lead times, wouldn't expect to see a Scrambler in production before next summer.
Based on the 4-year plan, I was under the impression that we shouldn't expect the Scambler until late 2029.

Let me tell you how overrated reading is.

I told (text) the ole lady the other day I wanted two chalupas and a steak quesadilla when she was stopping at Taco Bell after work.

She came home with two chalupas and a steak taco.

I said taco and quesadilla aren't even remotely the same word.

She says eh I got bored reading the end of that and must have assumed.

How she is a pretty successful nurse, I have yet to figure out.
