Haven't seen any updates - looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Honestly speaking this is a very cool product but I can't ever see buying it because of the holes. Every bed cover I've ever seen is waterproof (or tries to be). I don't see how the value of the holes outweighs the benefits of it being waterproof.

There was some other type of rack posted that had the bike mount on the side. I think to make full use of the cargo area and ability to carry/access mountain bikes it would be awesome for a similar bike mount like the rotopacks.

That looks great! How'd you attach those bikes? Also, does that rack have other types of attachments other than rtt like a canoe or kayaks?

I personally wouldn't purchase it unless it has a waterproof option. Keeping water and DUST out is critical for any bed cover I've bought in the past and it continues to be job #1.

I really like you showing a RTT install that keeps the tent at the top of the cab height - that's what I'd want to do (though I'd go with a hard shell RTT but that's not important to your Upper Decker product.

I do wonder about the RotoPax mounts and their ability to hold full (or empty) tanks without shaking but you've likely tested them or you will before making them available.

There are holes around the perimeter of the basket to attach aftermarket bike racks to. These are just some we picked up on Amazon. We will be developing mounts for Hi-Lift Jacks, MaxTrax, shovels, etc. And we see the RTT mount doubling as a kayak mount as well.

Yes, the RotopaX Mounts are made from 1/4" plate and show now sign of shaking when full.

There is room in the front of the bed to allow you to lift it when the tent is on (it is obviously heavy though). As for the Decked system, we do not know - that has not been tested.

Really it all depends on the location of the pistons mounted to the inside of the bed. The DECKED system sits exactly 12" up from the bed.

Really cool looking product. I've got several of your products on my JKUR and have been really happy with them. This would be the perfect tonneau cover and RTT solution if it was only waterproofed. You guys should seriously offer an upgraded version that is water and dust proof. Just do a search on tonneau that works with a RTT rack... there are lots of people looking for this.

Any plans to release a version that will keep things in the bed dry?

I’ve been waiting for a cover that allows a rack or rails to be mounted. This would be perfect for me if I could store gear/luggage and not have to worry about water damage.
