I am a little confused. Does this bumper bolt up the the Mojave and Mojave Skid plate without modification?
No. You would still have to trim the bumper or modify the skid plate to make the mopar steel bumper (style) work.

I'm assuming a bit - but isn't that because the Mojave has the plastic bumper with the skid plate that has 4 mount points on the frame?
If you used the skid plate for the MOPAR steel bumper, I'd assume it should fit.

I seem to recall those with issues were using the plastic bumper style skid plate with the steel bumper and it won't clear the steel bumper.

(there are two types of skid plates - one used with the plastic bumper, one used with the steel bumper. Both skid plates are steel)

I’m of the school of thought that both the MP Concepts and Mopar steel bumpers are designed to work with the skid that ties into the front bumper , really fastening the bottom of the bumper to the frame, has to add strength and also more aerodynamic then the other skids. As a Mojave owner I would have used the Steel bumper skid if I used the steel bumper and just make shock remotes work. I also am assuming the MP Concepts skid plate is steel that bolts to the aluminum bumper…..jack

The Mojave X has the steel bumper and skid plate like a Rubicon option, and the shock reservoirs fit fine.

It comes with an aluminum skid plate, not steel. More of a brush guard anyway - if you plan to grind that plate on rocks, the center of your front axle would like to have a word with you

It’s optional, you can make the stock steel plate work if you want. I used the 6 lb aluminum one, saved 10 lbs over the 16 lb stock steel plate. Been scraping the hell out of lots of other parts of my rubicon but haven’t touched that plate

When trying to use the Mojave skid plate, or the version that comes with Rubicon plastic bumpers they do not fit the mopar steel bumper. (or the other aftermarket versions) It appears most people end up trimming a little bit from the steel bumper. Others have also installed by moving the rear skid plate brackets down a bolt hole. Which sacrifices 1 of the mounting bolts.

Confirmed by others taking photos of Mojave X at dealers. The Mojave X use the Rubicon steel bumper skid plate. That skid plate version does also cover the shock revisors very well.

So for Mojave, you can buy the mopar steel bumper (or aftermarket version) and mopar steel bumper skid. Will bolt up 100% and cover the shock reservoirs. (Steel Skid Plate P/N 82215183)

If you try to install any version of the mopar steel bumper and try to reuse the Mojave skid plate, you will have to modify the bummer with minor trimming or use another method. The skid interferes at the top of it into the bottom of the bumper. This is the same condition some of the aftermarket bumpers have the Mojave as well. It clears or interferes typically on the top edge.

I swapped my Mojave plastic bumper and Steel skid plate out with a Rubicon Steel bumper and skid plate. I actually don't like the way it looks, I like the Mojave Steel Skid plate (that came with the plastic bumper) better.
I guess no matter what to use the Mojave steel skid plate I will have to modify the Rubicon Steel bumper or the MP Concepts Aluminum bumper.. Good to know.

Looks to me like the Rubicon type skid plate that bolts to frame brackets and the bottom edge of the bumper works just fine on Mojave - the skid plate brackets bolt to the inside of the frame.

My '23 Mojave has the bracket on the outside. They must have changed in later years. Unless it's a Mojave X thing, but I thought they had the same front plate.
