I would stick with a name brand like Toyo, Nitto or BFG. You have a problem with the no name tires you will have trouble getting support same if you need to replace one a year down the road. You get what you pay for, the JTs are not cheap can’t see the point in saving a a couple hundred dollars on something as important as tires on any vehicle.
I am a fan of BFGs but these seem to have pretty decent reviews and people I know running them talk real good about the brand. A guy said he got 45,000 miles out of set and they still had life on them. The brand isn't a new brand, I wouldn't consider them a no name brand. I know for at least 8yrs they have been out. I considered them a few times for my JKU but kept going back to BFGs. But going up to a 37 and finding something that is closer to a 37 and only 69lbs seems like they should be considered.

To say that a smaller company will have bad customer support just because they are not a huge brand is ridicules. There are plenty of smaller companies that stand by there product and do right for there customers. Small companies are the backbone of this nation.

So true. For reference I found them here for $1196.00 shipped. That's about $350 cheaper than BFGs KO2S.

Not sure why we would have a issue if anyone decided to get them. Can't find anything bad about them online or youtube. Seem to be as good as any. People don't like retreaded tires, but I know people running treadwright tires and they swear by them. Just saying just because something is made in another country doesn't mean it's bad. I guess our TVs and cellphones suck also.

If you've never ran a set then your opinion really means very little and isn't helping anyone decide.

I have ran trail hogs on another vehicle. They are made by GBC. I really liked them, i got 40k out of them. They are great in snow and on the rocks. If I could get them in a narrow 35 I would buy them again. If you are really interested I did a full review and pictures. Google Fj and trail hogs

I ran a set of the 35s MTs on my F150 and 2 went out of round in the first 20000ish miles. I didn’t care because the company that does all my fleet tires literally gave them to me but if I’d spent $1000 I wouldn’t be very happy.

I know that doesn’t give you much frame of reference but that’s my experience.

You’ll pay more but the tires on my F150 now are 35” Cooper AT3 XLTs and they are absolutely fantastic I’d expect to get 70-80k out of them based on the wear when rotated for the 3rd time last week at 19000 miles

The 37s are 67lbs IIRC

I have them in 37s. Ride good, seem to be wearing well. Not too loud, and not a ton of snow but this is the second winter I’m going through with them and no issues so far. Had Mastersraft MXT 35s on before them and didn’t lose anything in terms of power or mileage which I assume is from them being a lighter tire.

What size lift you got on yours and curious what they measure out to on you JT. I actually found a set of eBay for $878 shipped. I may just get them and take my 315 70 17 BFGs off and throw them in the garage. If I end up not liking them then I just go back to the BFGs once the Kanati's wear out. At the rate I'm going with the BFGs I'll probably see 60,000 miles out of them. Any help would be appreciated.

Appreciate the info. I ran Coopers before in a 35 and like them. My second favorite tire I ever ran behind BFG's. They cost though but definitely a good tire.

Kamati makes the Mud Hog in a 39x12.50r17. I REALLY wish they made the Trail Hog in that size!
I feel ya there. Just watched this video of the Mud hogs in a 37 and if these Trail hogs look as big as those on my jeep I would be super happy. I'm real tempted to get a set of the trail hogs in the 37's.

Rough Country 2.5” spacer leveling kit on the front and 1.5” spacers on the back. From
Memory I believe they measured 36 1/4”? But I’m guessing. Can measure them later today, but obviously they aren’t brand new so probably a little smaller now.

Yeah, please if it's no trouble. Also about how many miles you figure you got on them. I'm just trying to gather all the info I can. I'm between these and BFGs but these seem obviously taller and cheaper, which is a good thing. I'm a BFG fan but I'm willing try something else if it's close to comparable.
