Lifting and putting 37’s won’t void your warranty… at least in theory. For example, I’ve not been denied warranty batteries or a faulty abs sensor due to my lift (albeit the Mopar variant), aftermarket wheel and 37 inch tires.

However, a dealer may deny my claim for say… ball joints wearing prematurely due to the 37’s and I wouldn’t fight it.

As far as jeep it or sell it, that one’s on you. The JT is amazing and the diesel can be great. There are cooling shortcomings depending on whether or not you tow or drive it hard in the hot summers, I’ve found those limitations and considered a different platform for that very reason. However, I think mine is here to stay. 3 years, 32,xxx trouble free miles outside of a bad ABS sensor and two sets of crappy OEM batteries.

RE the recall, run a fuel additive such as hot shot’s edt and hopefully it shouldn’t be too big of a deal. Also try a different dealer. That should really help too. I know people on here have had nightmares, but I know of 8 dudes between my pops, me and a bunch of fireman who have not had a single issue. I think the failure rate although catastrophic, if you win that crap sandwich lottery still sucks, is like 1-2%.

I have a JT Overland Diesel with 4.5” lift and 37s, basically exactly what you want from yours. I waited forever for a call from the dealer, then I couldn’t get my registration renewed unless the recall was completed. I called the same dealer and they said yeah we have parts, bring it in 🤷‍♂️. Sometimes you just have to work around them.

I just got back from Moab yesterday, and even without lockers it did everything I asked it to. Wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Keep it! I did the lift/tires etc. earlier this year, and with a regear to 4.56, you won't notice a thing. As far as the recall goes, I'm still waiting. I'm not a fan of the dealer or the maintenance department. Seems their mechanics or techs can't put the drain plug in without over torquing everything and if you think they couldn't strip out the air filter screws, you'd be wrong. Love my diesel Jeep!

Do you need to regear it tight away?
I’m still on stock gearing and no plans of changing anything if that helps. It’s a personal preference.

Retired. Beach bum.
I recently came very close to a great deal, $15k discount on either a diesel Sport S, or gas Sport S. Same equipment except for the diesel, that came with light duty tow package. But that did msrp for $56, my gas for $52. I was leaning toward the 2023 Diesel, till I heard Jeep was discontinuing the diesel, apparently due to the serious number of recalls and shortage of parts needed to fix? So I’m very pleased with my 2024 Has powered Sport S. With heated seats and steering wheel, power windows and locks, ACC auto cruise control, appearance package, automatic and hard to, with the 12.3” touch screen with UConnect WiFi. I don’t intend on hard off roading, I’m keeping the 245/75-17 HT tires till they wear down half way, then replace them with AT in 255/75-17 at most. With Bilstein 5100’s sooner or later. So my question is, why would Jeep drop a “great engine”?
