Reviving this thread!

I just ordered 5 of these from Wal-Mart for ~237 a tire. Nowhere near as cheap as they used to be, but significantly cheaper than I've been seeing them lately. Seems like most everyone loves these tires, and raves about them in the snow despite them not being 3peak rated. That's important to me since my wife takes the Gladiator when the snow is too deep for the Sienna on Blizzaks. I'm excited to try them out. Like someone else earlier in this thread, I'll be taking off perfectly good Falken MTs for these!

Older Post I know, but thought it would be good to see any long term reviews from those of you who have had them for awhile now? $242 a piece right now on Wal Mart. I am struggling to find the right tire for me and these look nice for this price.

I’m at about 12k miles on mine. Need to rotate soon. Rotated at 7k miles first time. They’ve done great for me in snow and light mud. They slip a little easier than I’d like in rain while turning. I always go to 4AUTO now just to be safe.

I bought when they first came out. Would buy again if the price here wasn't > $350. They became expensive.
35K miles so far. I think 5K more is left. Really good I think.
Only issue is that they slide around when it rains. Not terrible but noticeable. Not an issue in TX.

Only have just over 11,000 miles and so far wearing great. No issues other than they love to collect rocks. Bought them back when they were $660. For a set of 5. Will never see that deal again. Knew I should have grabbed 2 sets.

20k on mine, rotate every 5k, still tons of tread left and very even tread wear, also still very smooth and hold well in the rain. Will probably buy them again when these wear out.

So are these decent in the rain or not? It seems like there are some mixed reviews in that regard. If there is slippage from a stop at the rear tires when the road surface is wet, then that doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It is something that I even experience from time to time with the stock ATs and a somewhat of a heavy foot with an empty bed.

If they slip on the highway or going around a bend on a country road while it's raining then that's an issue.

I drive a little quick and know my jeep. I do get the front and rears to slide in the rain very easily. Haven't done panick stops in the wet.
I live in Texas. It hardly rains. If I lived in a rainy area I wouldn't get them.
Great, great tire. Just have to know everything has its limitations.

Have had mine on for about 9,000 miles now, can break traction on the wet from a stop no problem but haven't had any issues driving 2.5 hrs at highway speeds in light to heavy rain. Amazed at how good they were in the snow at my property in Northern Mi.
Would not hesitate to get again if these ever wear out. Only downside as others have mentioned is that they will for sure hold rocks after off roading which we do often.

I would not prefer my Kenda Klever R/Ts 35x10.5x17 over my Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts 255/85R17 (35x10x17) if conditions were more wet than I experience during non-winter time.

Simply because you’re not going to beat an all terrain tire (A/T) with a hybrid (R/T) in wet weather conditions. Especially a narrower A/T one.

The Mickey Thompson are my dedicated winter tires/wheels. Fantastic too and absolutely would/will run these year round, once the Kendas are done.

Would race to buy/replace Mickeys first.

Kenda have less siping and no stone ejectors.
I have no need for stud holes too, being illegal in Michigan.

Mickey Thompson left and not yet mounted on wheels here. Siping says all.

That's good information. I'll need to replace my kendas in the next 10k miles or so. I would prefer better wet traction.

First two tires profiled:

Excellent information: Mentions not having 12.5” wide on his daily.

Some more:

I will also say that Falken WildPeak AT3W are wet weather oriented. Says so on their website and are a great tire.

I’ll go Kenda again if I can get 5 for $900 again but I’ll look elsewhere if I’m paying normal prices.

How many miles is everyone getting? I’m only at 15,000
