ughhh I feel your pain!

I am on repair #2 already and honestly just waiting for it to leak again. I'm 99% convinced the axle "tube"/housing is out of spec on some of ours....and just not allowing the seal on the axle shaft assembly (the unit they keep replacing) to seal properly.
Someone on here had the whole housing replaced. I'll trade it in before that happens....

Is anyone getting grief from the dealer because of the lift?

After I brought mine back to the dealership to check for a leak after the repair the tech said he was 'totally confident' that it was just residual oil from the first leak. My repair happened around 6000 miles, so I'll keep an eye on it...
Maybe true. Mine leaked some residual gear lube for quite a while. Not enough to drip. Every so often I would blast the area of the backing plate with parts cleaner and wipe it down with a rag. It seems to be staying dry now.

That was me?. Honestly not a big deal. My dealer had my JT back to me in 48 hours. I can’t tell it was swapped whatsoever. So far it seems to be holding up.

Checked mine last night and it's leaking again. I cleaned it up real good and will confirm in a couple of days that it is for sure leaking and not residue from replacement.

Yep it’s leaking again!! Personally I think it’s a housing issue but who knows ??‍♂ And I’m still trying to figure out this noise but I’m still betting on the driveshaft specifically the carrier bearing.

I will be having the shaft replaced on Christmas eve. Hoping it does the trick but there seems to be a decent amount of you now leaking again.

My gladiator has the same right rear axle leak. I contacted my dealer for warranty and they tell me they have repaired 4 or 5 by replacing the seal. They also tell me that 2 of them had the replacement fail as well. They are blaming the failure on oversized wheels and tires. Sounds like BS since my mojave has the stock wheels and tires.

How are they blaming oversized tires if stock? Are they saying the stock size is too big for the axle?

Add me to this wonderful list. Right rear seal. The axles are of course on backorder, as we all know. I'll wait it out. The parts are ordered, and as of now, it's not leaking badly enough to be a major concern. I'm at 14700 miles. I'll drive it until the axle gets here. 2021, Rubicon. February 2021 Build Date.

And makes no sense that only one axle would leak.

Wish they would find the cause though!

Mines leaking with stock duelers. Id go to a different dealership for the repair If you're close enough .
