Magnetic rock lights

Wife bought the Mictuning 12 light rock light set but backtracked when I told her I would have to drill holes including using self tapping screws to mount the lights to the body or frame. I thought about hook and loop fasteners but I know it will wear out over time.

Anybody use the magnetic rock lights and how good are they for the price?

I have the dynamic diode ones. They have an optional magnet mount. They do well staying in place

I used 2 zip ties on each one. No drilling. I check them every oil change. Only replaced one so far.

2 part epoxy will hold them in place or buy magnets and epoxy them to the magnets

My buddy has the LuxLighting. super bright and magnetic. We do water crossings, mud, rocks, highway, everything. suckers haven't budged. just don't mount em on low points that can be easily dragged.

I used some magnetic mounts mentioned in a thread from here and they work nice.

I had the magnetic ones on my JK, and that thing went through all kinds of stuff, they never moved, not at all. I would wash the mud off and they just stayed in place. I now have them on my Gladiator, and have not had any issues.

I bolted them to my lights. My lights had two holes, so I used two magnets per each, at 30#'s pulling pressure. They wont move.

I have the diode dynamic rock lights. They have 2 modes. I wired low to engine on and high to my switch.
