oh thanks for that picture. I kept thinking it was on the hardtop which makes no sense! I will make sure to mark where it is on the hard top when removing.
It’s on the roll bar in the center. One antenna is for gps and one is for Sirius and uconnect.

Just got home from a long commute from a job site this morning and was thinking of this. What is everyone’s thoughts on sound deadening the inner plastic fenders or aftermarket inner fenders. I seem to recall having a European car in the past that had deadening under there, or at least that was what I thought it was. Almost looked like outdoor carpet inner fender liners?

Definitely helpful but you'll get more benefit from doing the floor pan by pulling back your carpets and doing the tub itself. Cars have a much better seal with the fender liners so that carpet like stuff wouldn't get ruined as easily. Going up the fire wall will be helpful as well.
I've got a little more material to use so I'm going to find a place for that.

Where is the best place to get the CoverKing headliner? Prices seem to range by $50 or more and the cheapest seem to be a long wait time.

I did the rear so far then got a used 100% Goose Gear rear delete ..seems to helped some.
One layer of each then carpet went back on 100% coverage. Thinking once I figure out how to retain the 8.4" radio and remove the amp I'll remove the back panel and sub completely and install a JL Audio HD900/5 Amp, and 10" Subwoofer and Box that I have.

At that time I'll do the front half. Top need something better than the Hot Heads..not worth the $ IMO so will address that also. May go 1/2" closed cell neoprene.

Some what..I didn't take a spl reading or a frequency reading I will for the front. It is better I can hear my wife and have the radio on at 60 but 70 up..wind noise gets worse...its a jeep.

I installed some weatherstripping (regular window/door stuff) from Lowes around my windshield and roll bar/A pillar. It seems to cut down on the windshield wind noise as well

10-4..I was after getting all interior mods done that might require removal of the roof just using Sikaflex 715 and running some beads.

This is the passenger side rear door inner skin.

What is the “ProFighter Mojave”?

This is the driver’s side rear door inner skin. Kind of a pain to maneuver out to this point.

This is the inside of the door. Lots of bare flat open sheetmetal to act like a drum. The blue thing is a part of the window lift. The diagonal is merely a brace and does not move. It is glued to the outer skin.

I created a couple templates out of rosin paper to get the fit right for the pieces to go in. Had to trim and fit a few times to get it close to right.

The bone color plastic is a guide for the window. It is held in with two torx screws. Removing it helped to get the inner liner out of the way and helped access to the inside of the door.

My goal was to reduce the resonance on as many of the flat sheets as possible without trying to get every single piece covered. I tapped around on the door to find anything that sounded ‘tinny’. I also put some on the inner liner plastic in a couple of the large flat areas. On the passenger side I also added a couple pieces to the inside of the outer shell. I concentrated on the large flat unobstructed areas.

The net result so far is a significant reduction in the hollow drum-like resonance. Tapping the outside of the door made a real change to the sound transmission and changed the tone. Now to do the front doors …
