Mine delivered on Monday 9/16; but due to a conference in Vegas this week and a Golf Tournament in Napa next I won't be able to take possession until the 26th or so...

Waiting this long and tacking another 10 days on for fun is painful.

Man, that looks a lot like the one I ordered and then chose not to buy.

Got my build sheet the other day, and it has remote start on it. Is this just a standard thing on all build sheets or have they messed up? I was under the impression that manual transmissions can not have remote start.

EDIT: I just re-read and realized I glanced too quickly and read "remote keyless entry", and "pushbutton start" all together. All is as expected.

You are going to love it
Might not be the smartest move but I haven't even test drove the Gladiator but for some reason I get the feeling I know I'll love it! I haven't had a manual vehicle since 2012 and missed driving it every single day since

I hadn't driven one in over a decade and it came right back. Partly because its an easy manual to drive. Haven't stalled out yet.

Just 7.5 days until I pick mine up. I do want to know if anyone has tried push starting a Gladiator, and if the electronic push button start would affect being able to push start it, that is with assuming the battery is completely dead, and the button needing juice to engage to a starting position?

The new tpms sensors aren’t learning right though, have the tpms light but traveling so will have to figure it out when I get home.

How are you liking the performance with the manual and your tire upgrade? I’ve driven a few manual stock JTs, but am curious about it being more of economy gear pack for stock tires instead and not be beneficial with oversized tires

Are any of you MT's that have upgraded bigger tires (35"+) wishing they went with auto for the flexible range of the 8spd? Do you think re-gearing would even help? ive seen some answers back and forth but nothing really concrete. I will be a weekend warrior and plan to go 2.5-3.5" range with 35"-37" sometime after. Now that crunch time for ordering is coming up im having cold feet. Ive always wanted a manual for the nostalgic rawness and fun, but is it worth the convenience and additional performance to go with the Auto???

After driving the manual for a few days I'm less disappointed in it. You save 2000 getting the manual which should be around what it costs to re-gear. I can't shift into 6th unless I go 15mph over the speed limit. So 5.13s will help immensely I think with acceleration and basically gain access to another gear so mileage and top speed should be unaffected. The 4.10s are fine with me 1-5 though. I bought a 6 speed though so I want to be able to use it.

I would not go 37’s. I do ok with the 35’s buy installed the Pulsar by Edge Products and a catback exhaust by Gibson. I gained power and mpg’s immediately with the Pulsar, but I think lost a little with the exhaust except for hill climbing. I think the exhaust gave me a little more torque.

I've had my manual Gladiator for about a week and I think Jeep seriously missed the mark with the gearing in the 6 speed. I took it to the Adirondacks for the weekend and the gearing is horrendous for the mountain back roads. There needs to be another ratio between 3rd and 4rh. What we have is basically a 4 speed with two useless od gears. I love everything else about the truck though

I’ve had mine for 700 miles now and agree with everyone’s thoughts on the gearing - basically rides 1-4, occasional 5th above 55 but definitely downshifting to 4th for any kind of incline.

Has anyone tried the Sprint Booster, Idrive or Peddle Commander to see if it helps?
