Manual transmission swap

'22 Dura, '20 Gladiator Sport with only 3 options.
Assuming that this motor is used outside of this country, there has to be a manual transmission that works with it. Does anyone know what this is?

They don't even have a clutch that handles the 3.6 engine torque and HP............. likely you'll be piecing something together.
Ram, GM, Ford...none offer a manual transmission with a diesel anymore.

I don't believe any vehicles have this diesel + a manual transmission.

If one were to go this route, I would expect to drop in excess of $10k if you have to pay a shop to do the fabrication, run the appropriate sensors, tuning + acquire parts.

Try an nv5600 with housing ? That would handle the power for sure.

To find what is needed. The best bet is Europe where the engine is used in more applications. Boats and small trucks.

They make adapter plates for my tdi engine to hook up to several different transmissions. The hard part is finding the right machine shop. I will try to find out who does this now days.

The real trick is seeing how common the bolt pattern is across VM Motori engines. If the 4 cylinder pattern is the same as the 6 cylinder pattern, the NV3550 may be a bolt-on swap. If it isn't, then you may have to fabricate an adapter to the transmission of your choice.

Once that is figured out, you will then have to reflash the computer to ignore the missing automatic transmission to keep the motor from going into limp mode, and finding a shop that will reflash one of these computers is no small ask.

Don't they put the 8HP75 behind the 5.7?

If the EcoDiesel is the same bolt pattern as the 5.7, a T56 or NV5600 would bolt up without an adapter.

But as @Wageslave said, programming will probably be tough.

Not going to lie, now I wonder what the reverse would be like. An Ecodiesel Charger would be a fun one to troll car shows with. Would probably get some killer mileage to boot.
