Also, MC just released a preview on their Instagram of their new Reservoir Shocks coming out that are currently in the works, they are adjustable like the King Shocks, and look totally ???!
Can you link it? I looked and didn't see anything like that...

We put a Metalcloak longarm kit with Kings on our LJ and I was very impressed by the quality and the customer service. We had a question about part of the process and they were great at getting us back on track and offered other tips for setup. They spent about 30 minutes on the phone with us, not including questions we had about picking the right kit.

I'm planning on a 2.5 Gamechanger after my experience with the LJ.

Depends who you ask
I just ordered my 3.5 Gamechanger but opted for no shocks as the new shocks aren't scheduled to be releases till the end of the month but I wanted to takeadvantage of Veterans day sale. I'll evaluate then whether to get the new fancy shocks or get the well known rocksports.

Not sure if this was the one mentioned, but there's a quick shot of them when he pans to the shock booth.

I believe those might have been them.

I do want to say Metalcloak has been amazing at customer support and shipping. As soon as I ordered it they called me and said they were working on my order .. it shipping in 4 days from California to the east coast. And I called and asked them some questions during install and they were very helpful and picked up phone right away

Shame it's not available as a package with the lift yet. I had planned to upgrade to King shocks, so I'm curious how these compare on price and performance.

Shocks aren't complicated, but quality materials and precision machining are vital to making a good one that lasts and is serviceable.

The 8-way compression-only adjusters on the reservoirs and the pricing look basically identical to the Fox 2.5s. Curious to see a table of the various compressed/extended length. Hope they sell some and we hear first-hand reports.

Only one part number for both gas and diesel front shocks isn't encouraging though. I think the same is true of Fox. Unless you get them custom tuned, which is fairly easy to do with Fox, I guess it remains to be seen with these. Stoked for more options though

With the adjustment, it might not be necessary to rebuild the stack - especially if they are already set for a heavier vehicle to account for armor, winch, bumper, etc.

I'm still probably going to throw on the cheap monotube emulsion shocks with the lift while saving up for Kings.

Metalcloak anniversery weekend 10 percent off every thing except the new shocks. XT terrain has Fox 2.5 nonadjustables pretty inexpensive right now.

My current order of operations:
1) Wheels and tires so it will clear the lift
2) Metal cloak game changer 2.5"
3 & 4) upgrade shocks and Artec aluminum skid system (depending on pricing and the performance of the placeholder shocks)
