Jeremy isn't concerned about the cover at all.

What Jeremy is concerned about is the forward bracket on the passenger side, his underhood ARB compressor mount utilizes this bracket.
Exactly! Thanks for the info everyone. Another user shared with me a memo to Jeep dealers. The cover will not be on most, if any, '22 models. It said starting with the '23 model the brackets will be gone as well. Another user told me they saw four '22 model Sports with no cover or brackets on a dealership lot so I think it is random with what JTs may not have the brackets or the dealers may have removed them. Since our compressor mount uses the front bracket I need to note to customers that it may not work for them and that they need to make sure if they have a bracket. I am looking at some alternatives for updating the mount but I also have a new ARB Single only Underhood Mount that is launching this week.

I believe 813 Design is wondering if the brackets are still coming in case a ARB mount utilizes that front bracket. My money would be that the brackets won’t be coming much longer, why would Jeep spend the money on the rear bracket at all, front bracket does other things so there is where the real question of is that going to be staying on engine……Jack

PS: 813, ever look at making a MOLLE panel for behind rear seat, I have a machete, small ax, army shovel and other items that might fit there instead of under the seat. I have not looked to see how much room is there either.
Yes, it is something I am looking in to. I have the factory sub in my JT so makes it a little harder to prototype a MOLLE for the full rear area.

Hey Jeremy, you might take the bracket off your JT and see if your fabricators can replicate it cheap. More sales.......
Hey! I do all of the fabrication, design, prototyping, knuckle-scraping
I have thought some about another bracket. The issue I have is that it is a bracket that attaches to the engine. Using the bracket that comes factory is acceptable since Jeep put it there. But, I am a bit hesitant to make my own bracket and attach it to the engine.

I can't figure out why it wasn't put on the '22 models
Serves no real purpose, so they figured they could save a few bucks. It's aesthetic on our jeeps.

Lack of supplies is the answer EVERYONE is using…just keep relying on non domestic sources for everything and let the rest of the world have us by the balls… god forbid we use the resources available right here in the USA.

You haven't read the massive other thread on this topic?
Do you really NEED to understand?
Accept the fact that it's not necessary, doesn't need to be there, and was taken off.

Personally, I love to see the ENGINE. I love to see the working parts, the hoses, tubes, wires, cables.
If it was up to me, engines would be made of transparent aluminum with no covers except those needed to contain fluids, etc.

Bill it's been there for years, wasn't necessary to remove it, ugly as hell without it

That's your opinion. Most vehicle owners never even open the hood or know what an engine looks like.
Wasn't necessary to remove it? How about it wasn't necessary to HAVE it in the first place?

LOL - ya don't need to remind me it's been there for years - I've had my share of Jeep vehicles, including several with the 3.6

Seriously, having worked in the industry since the 70s, most people have no idea what things look like under the hood, or even how to check oil (and some of that info comes from IHP troopers)
Seems like only the young want things prettied up. Pretty damned boring at car shows LOL

Seriously, it's an expense, it's weight, it's design/engineering that's not necessary for THIS engine. And it's a TRUCK.

Want ugly? Look under the hood of a Bronco.
