Also remember that the AEV lift, as well as others, are meant to raise a sport suspension 2"-- unless its the spacers which will lift them all equally. And then, if you increase the lift by that much, you will be affecting the castor.
A - 2 inch AEV is a spacer lift.
B - caster is adjustable in the install.

Rubicon, so slightly different but here are before/after with the AEV 2.5 Dual Sport on stock 33" tires

Photo 1: Fully stock. Hardtop, soft top in box in bed (maybe 100 pounds?), factory tonneau cover

Looks fine to me. I will move to 35's probably when these wear out. I would like to get some sooner but can't justify the cost when existing tires work just fine and the difference is only an inch gain in clearance.

Tires before lift. Lift should (IN MY OPINION) be utilized only to accommodate the tire.
This is the same answer I've got after speaking with a super savvy and long term jeep owner / guru who's had and built literally over 100 jeeps over the years.

Would my Mojave look silly with a 2 inch AEV lift while keeping my stock 33 inch tires? Does anyone have a pictures of this setup?
Yes-- you want 35" tires, without question. Wife has a 2020 Sahara with the AEV 2" lift with Goodyear Duratrac tires and Method wheels and it looks great.

username checks out. Thanks for the link. Magnolia isn’t a terrible trek - just would have to find the time to get down there

Keep in mind that the Mojave rides slightly higher to begin with.

Any difference on how it rides on the highway?

I plan on doing the same thing. I don't have the cash for the tires yet but want to get the same 2" AEV lift ASAP to add some clearance. Some pics would be good for reference.
@arskemp posted while I was writing. That doesn't look bad.
Just buy the lift and stash it away until you get the funds for the tires

Buy the lift. Sell the 33s while they still have tread and you can get money out of them. Then buy 35s or 37s. ?

Here’s my Rubicon after I installed my AEV lift (which was more than 2”) with the stock 33” tires
I drove it for about a month before I got my tires…

Already some great pictures here, but Mickey Thompson has a visualizer that is fun to play with. You can try different size lifts and tires on your gladiator model and color. /www.mickeythompsontires.com/visualizer
