In general it sounds like non-rubis get much more than 2, rubis are hit and miss. And diesels are a crapshoot(?)
Im not mad or arguing with you, but what did you base the statement above on?

Im just asking because above you quoted me and in my post but say... "rubi's are hit or miss."

I had a link with my Rubicon with the mopar lift and measured pictures and I don't believe any of my pictures or measurements were less then 2" and most were over. Pretty sure some were 2 1/2" or more.

Are others with a rubicon showing less than 2" with a mopar lift?.... Who... where? I haven't heard of anyone on here saying they got the lift and felt ripped off because it didn't go the full 2".

Like I said not mad just asking....

On a side note
Our sons Gator Max tow is in for the mopar lift on Monday morning, and the other sons 2018 Wrangler is going in on Wednesday, again for the 2" mopar. That will finish them all, meaning that all four of our Jeeps in my profile picture will have the mopar 2" lift by Thursday of next week!

Yeah you're right, I thought about that as soon as I posted it too - yours ended up higher as well. It's bad context and I'll edit that. I did see in other places where it was less, though - like the post right above yours that I quoted. From what I recall after poking around on this topic a lot, it comes down to options/mods that affect the weight on your front end.

Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for labor to have the Mopar 2" lift installed on my 2021 JTR?
I talked with three shops. One gave a range of between $650 and $900, second quoted $850 then third came in at $750. I went with the third @ $750. The third shop was the most convenient location to me. I am happy with what they did. It also included alignment and Re tightening at 500 miles.

I just installed a 2.5" Skyjacker lift kit on my JTRDiesel (4 coils, 4 shocks, front spring pad spacer, and 4 longer sway bar links).

It took me about 6 hours to install it. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I've worked on Jeeps plenty before. I have a good impact (Milwaukee M18).

I'd say the the more unusual tools I had to use for the install were 18mm socket and 18mm wrench (I had to buy a 18mm wrench!), and I also got a coil spring compressor. It's not really needed but it helps to squeeze the spring in there.

If I were to do it a second time, I think I could do in in about 4 hours.

I’m 65 years old and was able to install the MOPAR lift in my driveway in 4.5 using a floor jack only on my JT Overlander. With steel aftermarket front bumper I netted 2.5” all the way around. Back was too high for me so I reinstalled the stock springs with 3/4 Daystar spacers, another 1 hr. Time spent. After installation steering wheel was not level. Quick 2 min adjustment on stock track bar fixed that. Total cost $1215 using MOPAR 15% coupon and 1/2 of a Saturday.

Good job! I'm installing mine this week. You have me by 6 years. You mean drag link for the steering wheel I assume. Also, when did you buy the lift. I tried the 15% code on the Mopar site today at checkout, and it wouldn't take it?

Yeah, duh ,drag link not track bar. The lift moved the axle about 1/4" to the left so minor drag link adjustment was needed to level the wheel. I saw no need to put in adjustable track bar to shift axle back to center given it was only 1/4".
Bought it back in Dec. 2020. Got a 15% discount on accessory letter from FCA when I purchased the JT end of Oct 20. So, I used it for the Mopar lift, grab handles, accessory switch and Trailer Brake Controller. Did the installs on all myself, but had the dealer include reprogramming for the switch @ no cost as part of the dealeo.
