Had it installed by dealer, along with steering stabilizer, after some scraping on my first jamboree. Big improvement in ride. No scraping on my second jamboree. Still running 33's.

Gupton is now charging $900+ for installation, I was told initially they were charging around $600 or so, but the techs got with the service managers and said it was taking more time to do the installation, so they upped the price.

So after coupons and some begging my total cost was $2291. ..... $1295. for the lift..... $836. for labor and alignment..... $160 for the Fox Performance Steering Stabilizer.
thanks. I might use your post to get the same deal ha. i ordered a rubicon gladiator from them the other day.
have you thought abt the 3/4 or 1" front leveling spacer?

Mine is an Overland, basically stock, with steel front bumper no winch, stock rear bumper. Paid 1200 for Mopar 2" lift kit at dealer, and self installed in about 3 hours in the driveway. I was looking to even out the front to rear rake, and get a bit of lift.

After installing the Mopar kit, the front lifted 2 3/4", rear 2", but still had some rake and too uneven wheel to wheel fender lip look for my liking, so I returned to stock rear springs and added 3/4" Daystar spacer. Net measurements can be found below.

After lift was done, front axle shifted towards driver side 1/4", causing a few degree change in steering wheel. Simple self-adjustment of drag link needed to recenter steering wheel.

Results:

1)Much improved, firmer and responsive road handling over stock shocks, yet smooth and quite on highway. Driven across country multiple times.
2)Tracks straight, hands-off on straight, no/low crown roads
3)Wandering - no noticeable change - dealer alignment check at service indicates caster within spec.
4)Not a radical off-roader, but handles snow, trails nicely with added 275/65/18 Toyo Open County ATIII M/S, replacing stock Bridgestone AS.
5) Net lift measurement from ground to outer fender plastic molding lip in various stages in chart below, Measurement taken in flat parking lot, same location, after driving 5 miles between changes.

It’s good. Probably just as good as stock.

Beware the warriors who’ve never run one that will tell you it will need an extra $1,000 in parts… most of us aren’t running the rubicon every weekend. You should be just fine with an upgraded Mopar suspension and bigger tires to run all but the hardest of trails consistently before you start breaking things.

I like mine.
Those guys are wrong. The Mopar kit out of the box will do anything you want it to do. My brother's 2020 JT has it and he's done Moab and other places with no issue. The only extra part he added were Rock Krawler front spring pads, which I don't think are necessary on the latest part number for the kit.

It rides GREAT, handles just fine, and has outstanding articulation. Off-road, it is one of the smoothest riding kits out there.

The other stuff folks claim you need can be nice additions, but they aren't necessary. I've not broken anything on 3 Jeeps in 30 years of off-roading. But I don't jump them or do stupid things, either. And I only run 1 tire size above stock. (35's on the JL). Start running bigger, heavier tires/wheels and abusing it and sure, you might need extra parts. But any lift would be that way.

My brother is running 35" Falken Wildpeak MT's with the Mopar lift on his Rubicon and absolutely loves the way it drives on and off the road.

I had the 2” Mopar lift scheduled but ultimately cancelled & decided against it. The shop where I had my lift done at were removing those lifts weekly due to death wobble that Jeep could not seem to fix. I did my own research here on the forums & there were multiple threads that confirmed what they were telling me was indeed the case. I ended up going with the JKS JVenture 3 - 3.5” lift with the fox 2.0 performance shocks & Yeti steering brace as Trail Jeep’s had recommended. Hopefully Mopar have those issues resolved, but I didn’t want to take a chance. I believe I made the right choice.
You seem to be in the minority with your post.

Until you do your own research it’s just an opinion. Look it up if you think I’m wrong.

Can you post a pic with the lift installed on 33s? I’m about to lift mine and I’d like to get a hood look of a Rubi on 33s before I go all out and get bigger tires. Thanks in advance.

I haven't, the reason is I purchased the Diesel, supposedly the springs are different on diesel the lift kit vs. the gas version....... (not 100% on that) so I was going to wait and see how it looks and settles before adding to it. Since I am going big tire, I did add the mopar steering stabilizer. You can refer to my post, but any(most) dealerships will honor the coupons I used. The catch is they are only good through December, I'm not sure if they will get renewed or not. I tried to pre-pay , but they wanted me to wait until I got there. You will probably have to negotiate price once they have your vehicle on the lot. Without the coupons, they wanted to charge me straight MSRP. I posted the coupons already.

I have the Mopar 2" with 3/4" Daystar spacer up front. Been on this lift for 100,000 miles. The only thing that I've added is a falcon thru shaft adjustable stabilizer because I damaged mine on a trail. I tow, haul, and offroad. Very pleased with it.

If you want to see everything that I've done on this lift over the past 2.5 years and 100,000 miles, check out my youtube. It's taken some abuse. Lol

newbie question: what is the significance of the white tape on your wheels ?

I installed it on my Rubi Diesel. Would highly recommend it. Be sure to get the steering stabilizer also. It’s not part of the kit. Smoothed out the ride overall. With the diesel I did not get the truck to fully level out so to speak. And yes I did get the kit specifically for diesels.
Did you add spacers to level it out ? Got any pics of how it was with just the lift ?

Purchased from Quadratec ($1600) and installed by a local Mom & Pops tire shop ($900)

I'm very satisfied with mine.
