Wondering if anyone is running these 17x8 Mopar Beadlocks (as streetlocks, not with the actual beadlock ring) with 35x12.5s and no lift. The wheels are +12/4.4"BS, which will keep them mostly tucked, but still give a more negative stance (pushed out) compared to the stock JTR wheels (maybe 1/2"-1" total difference).

I've read/seen different setups, and I know 12.5s should be mounted on a wheel at least 8.5 wide. Not interested in running the true bead ring to get the Mopar wheel to 8.5 and don't plan on lifting above a TF 1.5" level.

Any rub issues on drag links/control arms at wheel lock for those running that setup?

Cheers.

Those would set your tire out 1.26” from where it is now. (44mm-12mm, then converted from metric)

Explain how you get that. Because going from a +44 offset (stock), to a 0 offset, would be 44 mm. Then going to a -12 offset would add another 12 mm. So he is going to be 56 mm farther out than he is now. 56 mm is 2.2" farther out than stock.

The wheel was stated to be +12 offset. The difference between +44 and +12 is 32mm.

Dan...........ordered that set up the other day for the Mojave. The tires are 35/12.5/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and call for a 8.5" rim. The 315/70/17 Ridge Grapplers say 8" rim but those are out of stock around here. The dealer said no problem for the 35's on 8" rims. From all my calculations the inside clearance is about the same if not a little more than factory. I figured about a 1.75" further poke out on the outside of the tire. Plus 1.25" for the wheel and plus .5" for tire. Tire is 1" wider, .5 to the inside and .5 to the outside. Will see in about 2 weeks.

Wheels are in, 4 out of 5 tires in. Rings heading to powder coater Monday. I was originally thinking paint, time will tell if I made the right decision. The powder coater is going to buy my factory wheels/tires.

I jumped on a set as well, wrapped in the Grabber X3s. Interested to see the final!

My powder coater has Covid!!!! We talked through his door window when I dropped off the rings last week and he was pretty sick! I am going to give him a few more days before I bother him! I know there were a few questions floating around on other threads about measurements on this wheel. So I went to the dealer this AM and took a few pictures. The interesting one is the back spacing. The specs say 4.4" and I measured 5". So I am not sure how Mopar is measuring this. No big deal because it is what it is!

You measure backspacing to the tire mounting surface, not the outer lip of the wheel.

Then if that is the case, 4.4" is correct, correct?

The powder coater texted me this afternoon and had the rings finished! He came outside and we talked a little. I met him 2 Fridays ago and he had an out of town trip planned. He never made it. He was in bed for a week. Very sore throat, bad cough, fever and no energy. Said he thought he wanted to go to the hospital twice but didn't. Finally felt like eating and had a big meal last night. Got up this morning feeling a lot better and got my rings finished. Cool!

The color is Flat Just Orange. It looks like it is a shade toward burnt orange. One picture is in the shade and one is in the sun. It matches the orange trim on the hood decal perfect. Hopefully can get mounted Monday for the real test!

BAM had them for $317. I took screen shot and dealer matched price! I was very surprised they matched price but did have to pay tax. I got the tires on the buy 3 get 1 free deal. They charged some crazy price for the tires but entire package was reasonable and they handled everything. I'm going to let the dealer put everything together also. That way, if any issues I know where to go.

The pictures are NOT a good representation of the orange color. They are NOT that orangey and actually match. The powder is Flat Just Orange and is perfect! Funny, I first thought it was not orangey enough! These are heavy wheels and tires and I can feel a little difference from the factory 33's. The wheels stick out about a 1.75" past the fenders like the calculations. I did a few figure 8's in the back yard and no rubbing lock to lock. From all the calculations the inside of the tire is the same as the factory. So no issue there.

I love that look. If I wasnt impatient I would have my rings powdercoated too.. but I have the AEV Borah's which I believe are basically the same specs as these in a similar appearance. Just a couple more finish options.
