Thanks man. My steering is actually fine with the stock box. Overall plan is to ride it as is for a while and then eventually replace everything on steering axles etc to get up to 40s but that's a later project down the road

It's alive!!! Should have it back at some point next week and then the fun stuff starts. I am planning to keep this thread updated on how things go and evolve.

That sounds great!! I just bought a 2017 5.7L/ 8spd trans drop out with 30K miles for my '08 JKU. Gonna do the swap myself with components from Jeep Speed shop. My JKU has well over 220K and it won't last forever. On my JTR...I would probably go the same route as you...gonna see how this swap goes. If it is as straight forward as they say...I may go the DIY route for my JTR.
