Yes i think i will, thats why i asked about mexico, because as glads are super rare here, (seen 2 in six months) my jeep garage said as these are made in mexico the US guys dont understand the issues on EU ecodiesels !
All Gladiators are built in Toledo, Ohio.

I worked with my old service manager and got mine fixed under warranty. They replaced shocks on all 4 corners with a different valved shock, they also replaced the front springs. After that, it was better but still not perfect. I upgraded to a 2.5" lift and it took care of it.

hey, ill look into those, thanks. i just find it unacceptable that jeep cant do anything after i buy a 4x4 that cant 4x4 ....
Clayton makes springs that help. You could also do the Mopar lift and stay in warranty. We all had to deal with it.

Does the Mopar lift differentiate between the diesel and gasoline engine? Or do the same springs/shocks get used for both applications?

2 different part numbers for the lifts. Different spring rates.

Oh, that sounds promising. How much height difference is there between the stock Rubicon and Mopar lift?

Hey guys ands girls, so i know the extra 500 pounds on the diesel has killed most early glads, i spent 70k and need now to spend 3k on a lifting kit to stop the problem, my jeep garage said they can not do it but i find this unacceptable, surely this is a recall matter? i cant use my truck for what its intended to be used for... plus they tell me all euro glads were made in mexico!? is that true? i highly doubt it. so basically has anyone had help from jeep on this matter? thanks a million! @JeepCares

Dude ,I know your from France , but I live in a very rural and rugged state in The USA. West Virginian and my Rubicon would bottom out alot . Finally got fed up with it . Ordered and installed Falcon shocks and Teraflex spring based 2.5 lift (not a leveling puck). New trackbar ,new lower control arms etc..

I've also bottomed out the front end in potholes with my diesel sport s. As another member said, the front bumpstops are about an inch longer on the diesels, I believe because the bottom of the oil pan is lower. I just picked up a 1 inch front diesel-specific spring spacer for $50, which specifically helps this issue.

You can do whatever you want to your Gladiator in terms of upgrading the suspension but you will of course lose your warranty.

And no, the Gladiators made for the EU are not manufactured in Mexico, they came from the same factory as these for ROW. EU Diesels are more or less no different to US Diesels.
Appart from that they have some stuff included that you would have to buy as an option in the US.
It’s unlikely that they won’t honor warranty work because of a suspension upgrade unless that caused the problem (which it won’t).

I think there might be quite a difference between Jeep in Europe and Jeep in the USA.

If you modify anything without approval your warranty is gone. At least in Germany.

Well, I aint big on warranties anyway they know that the chances are slim if you need warranty work compared to the overall amount of vehicles sold .
I got to 75,000 and was gonna do an extended warranty thru Chrysler MVP plan and decided screw it the 3000-4000 it would cost would be the same I would put into another 3.6 or transmission (probably slightly used ) so it wasn't worth it to me . If that was mine I would just do it and say screw em. But thats me .
