In the excitement of picking up my truck couple of days ago, I totally forgot to post pics and officially say goodbye to this thread who kept me company for few months as I waited for my truck to arrive. It was one hell of a ride ?

Jeep Wave sent my ETA this morning. 3/23. I'm going to wait until Friday to check to see if they have started the build yet.

Ordered January 18th. Received email from Crypto this morning. Chatted Jeep and they said my build is complete and approved for shipping. No ETA on delivery though.

Seems like mine went from parts gathered, to built. lol

Finally moved to D1 this morning. I contacted Chat and they said it was still waiting. The dealer got back to me on a separate issue this morning and gave me that information as well. Might be here sooner than the ETA says but I am not holding my breathe but that would be cool if so.

"Your Jeep is in "D1" status this morning and looks like it may start to ship just after the first of March!"

Random question, but do any of you guys know the protocol for how they handle your Jeep while it waits on the lot to get picked up? Will people be test driving it and looking at it? Kinda worried mine is gonna get snatched off the lot by someone before I get home from overseas... Irrational fear, but still...

Not to feed your inner fear machine, but I thought you had 2 weeks to pick it up after it got to the dealer. Anyway, assuming you coordinate the pickup window with Peterson, I can say I've never been able to test drive a vehicle that had somebody else's name on it. Once it's yours, it's all yours.

I put a sizable deposit on mine when the order was placed .... so.... I'd be a bit "animated" if I showed up and it had more than 5 miles on it. Someone would have some splain'n to do!

I second this. Gupton puts sold orders in a different place on the lot, I bet most dealers do. They also allow you to close on the deal without being there in person.

Mine had 6 on delivery and 11 when I drove off the lot. It also had a full tank of gas, though. I am honestly happy that someone there drove it 5 miles to see if any problems showed up.

My delivery date got bumped to the week of 3/7, and all of my willpower and patience immediately exited my body after reading the updated date in the Jeep wave email. I’m going to show up to the dealer when my JTRD arrives looking dried up and dusty like this fellow here…

I started this whole process on 9/3 and canceled my initial 2021 order on that date and decided to wait a month for the MY22 order bank to open. This isn’t the wait that I wanted, but the one I deserve for canceling my original order!

I received some bad news this morning from Gupton. As reported a couple days ago my JT build is done and in shipping.

I asked Renee @ Gupton if there was an ETA. The response I got is as follows.
"Right now you are in KZLD which is shipping with delay. We are seeing a huge delay in shipping and we have a TON of these built and ready they are just waiting on a truck"

In my case Jeep had my JTR built in 3 weeks. They just can't get enough truckers to fill all the loads. Unfortunately the dealers are the middle men and can't do anything about it.

I'm going to practice patience and ease my pain with some frosty cold alcoholic beverages.

Edit, for those of you who have been waiting months, I hope yours gets put on a truck before mine.

So I'm a car salesman here in Florida and can absolutely confirm this is the case! I have about 10 cars and trucks for other customers that are built and ready to ship. They are having trouble getting truckers to load the vehicles up, let alone get workers wanting to work. I have a customer who built his 3500 GMC truck back in August and have a "pending dispatch" code stuck on. It's a horrible situation. I am stuck waiting on my gladiator as well. I placed my order on 12/6/21. Fingers crossed this madness gets resolved!

Well that is no good. They seemed to be doing pretty good with getting vehicles shipped to Gupton lately. Hopefully things straighten out soon.
