Did you order a 22 before the full guide was available? Like was your pricing an assumption based on 2021 prices at the time of order?
No, ordered as a 2022 expecting 2022 prices as they were in November…. But 2022 prices increased across the board when the January order guide was released on January 17th. Both base price and a majority of the options increased. See the MY2022 guide thread linked below.

Ordered 12/17 via Gupton. Cryptostickers alerted me to a build sheet this morning!
I'll take the progress, Jeep Chat continues to be clueless.
Jeep email claimed week of 2/18 delivery to Gupton.
Sweet! That's two of us with a similar order and delivery date. Jeep chat had me in Trim status yesterday and Daniel was able to confirm it. Sounds like the quick turnaround just might play out for us!

If anyone is at Gupton, Graphite Grey Diesel Rubicon with a black hardtop and cloth seats..... send pics;)
Mine just landed too! Daniel must still be out, but I just got an email from Renee! I don't think we can make this weekend happen, so it looks like next Friday for me!

Welp, my build was completed last on Friday and I was excited to see cryptostickers found my window sticker this morning. Every option was correct (thanks Daniel!) but my heart sank a little to see that it showed the recent factory pricing increases…. My MSRP shot up nearly $2000 compared to when I ordered.

Sounds like Gupton does do the price protect, I’m hoping that’s true, can anyone in the financing phase with Gupton confirm?

I mean $2k isn’t going to break the bank, but I definitely would have configured it differently had the those prices been in effect at the time of order (gorilla glass alone increased $300!!!!!).
Broke down and emailed Daniel Gupton and can confirm that at least for Gupton, orders placed prior to factory price increases are locked in at the price they were ordered at.

“Good afternoon sir! The window sticker should always reflect the most recent pricing but when it is invoiced to us it should reflect the pricing from when we ordered it.”

Congrats! Fingers crossed that there are better factory incentives for you in Feb to make it worth the wait.

Daniel had previously told me I’d get an email from Renee when it was my time, so I think they are generally split between orchestrating orders (Daniel) and pickups (Renee).

Well. A flurry of gladiators indeed seem to have been released. My long lost diesel seems to be moving. After the Saturday jeep waves email that had no date, on Monday jeep chat said the parts were here and i was waiting to schedule. Today wanted to check the validity of that and Kent tells me my estimated ship date is 31 January. Woohoo!

I updated the spreadsheet, so that date puts me at 87 days from order to ship. Outlier yes, but not as bad as those that still don't have ship dates. @Jgauger45 is showing 100 days! So that puts me only at second longest (in November). Currently.

Who knows how long it will take to actually ship after we get to the ship date, but finally some progress.

And as for invoicing, and this goes in general for the businesses I'm in, the purchase order specifies the agreed to price (for me, that was formalized as an order on 5 November). The payment for that price is made when invoiced (for us, that's when we go to pick up at the dealer). In the real world, when I receive a PO, I order my materials at the price that I locked in when I quoted my materials. I have to lock in my materials prices before I offer a product for sale to ensure I don't lose money on the materials. And thus the sales price is locked for my customer. THEREFORE if a dealer is upping the price on you after you both agreed in writing to a purchase price, that seems super shady to me. That's just not how it works. That dealer is trying to swindle you for extra monies. And likely other swindly things.

Just got an email from Renee at Gupton. My Snazzberry JTR has landed as well. I am hoping for a Monday pick up. They must have just gotten a huge shipment in. I would love to see pictures if anyone happens to see it during their pick up times. Can’t wait!

I got my build sheet today. Looks like they ended up with green. Seems crazy since Zynith is on the price sheets for January, but I'll take it :)

Jeep chat is totally useless. My dealer contacted me today and advised me that he received a 2/2/22 ship date for my Mojave. He said I should have it mid to end of February. I reached out to Jeep Chat and they gave me the "I see all the parts are gathered and that you vehicle should be build shortly" speech. When I questioned the ship date all I got was the run around. I asked for a supervisor to call me to discuss this. They gave me a case number and said that someone will call me in 1 business day.

They honored the price they quoted me in December, you should be good.

Mines a fairly middle of the road build I think, skipped a few higher tag items like leather interior and the safety/adaptive cruise. You couldnt pay me to have adaptive cruise.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that with adaptive cruise. I can’t STAND it.

You must have ordered before the price hike. I have a similar build except you got the body colored hard top vs black, steel bumper. LED's, roll up bed cover for only about $1000 over what mine cost.
