Here is what I got from the live chat conversation with Mathew....

"The Gladiator is currently in the pre-production stage which means that it is waiting for all of the parts to be gathered so that it can enter into the build process. At this time I do not have an estimate for when the build will begin. I would suggest allowing a week to pass then contact us back for an update, but we are available 24/7 if you do want to contact back sooner."

My order was placed on 5/1 and been in D status for 36 days now. I was told by the dealer of a 5-10 week delivery; tomorrow will be going on 7 weeks.

My build is a 53k Rubicon 6spd m/t:
Cold Weather Group
8.4 Inch Radio and Premium Audio Group
Jeep Active Safety Group
Cargo Management Group with Trail Rail System
Body Color 3 Piece Hard Top
Roll-Up Tonneau Cover
Spray-in Bedliner
Body Color Fender Flares
Hardtop Headliner

Other than the spray-in bedliner, what other hold up could I possibly have?

Other than the spray-in bedliner, what other hold up could I possibly have?

Our builds are the same for the items in bold above. Mine was ordered on 5/14 and I've been in D status since 5/23. We've seen reports in other threads about body-color tops now becoming a delay item, as well as bedliner. My build also has the front trail cam, so that may impact my own exit from D based on other rumors about the cameras being a delay item.

I believe it’s a combination of Rubicon and Manual transmission. None have been built and I’m not sure any are in D1 yet. I’ve seen a few sports with manual go D1.also mine is not body colored hardtop.

Hearing on a separate thread about the hail storm they had at the factory. Could also be effecting us.

Day 35 in D status...I had a chat with them online this morning, and they offered to escalate it for me. I just asked if they could inform me why I have been in D status so long, and when I might be moving to the next stage D1. I am supposed to hear something withing 24 hours. I don't expect to hear anything meaningful, but it's better than nothing.

I’m dyin here!!! Ordered a rubi on 4/27. Haven’t moved out of D since. Someone PLEASE give me some positive thoughts here. I’m ready to pull the plug on my dream machine. It’s so damn frustrating!

Apparently I'm not in D status or D1 status, I was a bit annoyed that Jennifer's Other system said its being shipped, but the first system says its not been released yet. Just thought i'd add to the discussion of Chat not really being accurate.

Who/where is “Jennifer”? The only person I have talked with is the sales person at my dealership. Can you direct me to an email or phone number? I’m going on two months now. Ugh!

You can use the chat feature on Jeeps website if you follow the "contact us" link towards the bottom of their home page. you will need your VIN or VON so they can look up your info but they can tell you build status and that's about it.


Also Day 19 in D status since the reset.

I am out of D. It was right around 30 days. There is hope. I have now been in D1 for 8 days.

Jeep chat (Brandi) just told me their “system” showed I have been in D status for 19 days. According to my dealer I went into D status on 5/16. She couldn’t explain the discrepancy but told me they can’t expedite my case until I’ve been in D status for 30 days in their system. I wonder what is going on?? Anyone else have this issue?

PS...don’t you get your vin when you go into D status? Got my vin on 5/16.
