MAN i did a ton yesterday and this morning TO Gladys.

I filled the rear holes in the tailgate, took the sport badge off, cut the drain plug carpet plugs out to properly install my floor mats.

I parked Gladys in the garage for the first time......need to organize so all of her can fit, lol. Actually, no I need to build a 3rd stall for a proper work area.

I completed my badass freedom panel customization. If you want to see the whole write up check out this link. Where have you been all my life, Gladys?

I can't wait to see pics with the back installed. Kudos to you for going the extra "fun" of custom fabric and upholstery, if it didn't cost so much that black plaid sample you had would be on my todo list.

I'm pretty sure this post was two firsts.
1. "I picked up my Punk'n" CONGRATS!
2. "Came much quicker then I anticipated" BWAAHAAHAA!!! THAT statement has to be the first time said on this forum!
Mine came much quicker than anticipated by 4 weeks. Was told 10 weeks got in 6 weeks.

I finally broke down and parted with the cash for Rock Slide Engineering steps and got them mounted in the 100 degree heat. I think I’m getting old...

I really like the wide step on top and that it will help mitigate road grime and debris on the sides of the truck. The flat top helps me exit the driver’s seat without dragging my but so much. My 2012 JK needs a bit of upholstery work for just that reason.

It was too hot yesterday to finish the wiring. Frankly, it was too hot to snap another picture. Dang, I’m getting old. I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t finish the job in one go. Maybe I should have told a little white lie instead, like, “I ran out of film in my iPhone.”

Those are the newest lights from Rigid. They change their beam spread based on your GPS speed, tight long distance for high speed, more diffuse for slower speed.. They also change colors.
