Picked up my Sting grey JTR at the end of January. My first Jeep but my friends, who owned or had owned Jeeps, clued me in to the wave. Mostly interstate on the way home so no wave opportunities.
I was on our small winding road and just eyeballing every car looking for a Jeep and a wave.
Then, coming around a corner, a lady throws up a wave! --She was in a new Bronco!:(

Is it because "gladiator" or is it not a thing anymore?
I've waved at a ton of people and they just /ignore.
Even the lifted guys.
What gives?
Sounds like you're on a "pay no mind" list, lol. Not a problem up here in NEPA yet, unless they are busy on their phones, then they don't see you wave.

Yikes! A Bronco wave?!? I don't wave at Cherokees, Renegades, et al.

I swear WV has the highest per capita jeep ownership of anywhere I've been! It is really hit and miss around here.
Most modded jeep drivers wave, but some don't. On a 10 mile drive into town, I'll pass no less than a dozen jeeps every trip, and about 1/2 will wave.

I'm in NEPA. Do not/will not wave unless I know you. And even then I need to like you.

That's how it is here in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. I've lived in multiple locations on every coast being in the military for 24 years. By far the highest I have witnessed. VA Beach thru Outer Banks, NC is also very high pop. Most still wave. I got into Jeep from the Subaru community. I thought they waved alot! Jeep is way more.

South Carolina checking in here. Maybe it's the southern hospitality in us but you'll get tennis elbow driving around here with all the waving going on. At least that's how it is in the greater Charleston area.

Keep it up y'all!

I’m n central Texas, we get about half and half for who waves. I also ride motorcycles, and motorcyclists will wave across a divided highway… jeep owners are not nearly as committed to the cause.

I live I Dallas…jeeps…specifically wranglers… are ubiquitous here…lots of unmodded unlimiteds driven by soccer moms….lots of modded ones driven by teenagers.

I wave at other gladiators…they all wave back.

I wave at most wranglers too…maybe 50% wave back.

Here in the areas I travel in, very few dont throw a wave. JT,JL,JK,TC,YJ and obviously the occasionally seen CJ. Even some of the GC and cherokee folks throw the wave out there.

However on the extremely rare occasion I venture into the city, they usually only give me the single finger wave.... poor Jeeps

My wife laughed at the wave I got the other day from another Gladiator driver, she said "that was a Harley wave not a Jeep wave..."

Most people wave around the Lehigh Valley area of PA where I'm at. You'll occasionally come across a guy who's too cool to wave, like this bunghole with an over-lifted booger green JLU on 22" rims. ?

The best jeep wave I've ever got was a Nun driving in a stock 95 YJ back in the winter of 2003. It was snowing like crazy, but she was visiting folks in the hospital and as I passed by her in my TJ Rubi, she smiled and waved...?

Depends on where you live too. Down here in SC people still wave for the most part. Minus all the people from the NE invading our state.....Can always spot them with the front plate holders....
Which would you rather have, the Texans in the 70's or the Kalifornians in the 2010's?
I think they Cali group is still flooding in. I know the are in Texas.

They sure are. It's amazing how that happens when you tax the hell out of your constituents and the corporations they work for.
