I find 14-15psi to be the sweet spot of comfort, grip and peace of mind.

I'm inching my way down to 10 psi to test the "bead grip" technology. ;)

I'm interested in the Method "Bead Grip" wheels. Did you mark the wheels and tires at all to see if there was any slipping of the tires on the wheels?

I'm only asking because my 255/85R17 Baja Boss ATs on my JKR (stock wheels) have slipped on the wheels a few times. I've had to thoroughly clean the beads to get rid of any type of mounting lube to keep them from slipping. I'm now looking at Method wheels with Bead Grip as well as 392 wheels set up as true beadlock.

I haven't, but would be interesting to do in the future. Based on the marketing though, I don't know if THAT is the intent of the grip, but more of a "keeping the bead from popping..." kind of thing. I look at this and think 2 things

1) HOLY CRAP!
2) Maybe 15 psi IS low enough!

Awesome combo. I am running the Method 703s and 35" Baja Boss ATs, and they have been fantastic. Nate at Dirt Lifestyle posted a video a few weeks ago running the bead grip down to 0psi and it still didn't de-bead. I have ran mine around 10 psi a few times with no problems, and if I make it to the dunes this year I will likely try single digits.

Yeah, I read that it was to keep from popping a bead, that's why I asked about spinning.

My 255/85R17 are 35" x 10", and I'm now running them at 20psi off road on my 2-door JK instead of 15psi. The sidewalls seem to flex really well at 20psi and I don't notice any reduction in grip going to 20psi from 15psi, even on rocky climbs.

Here’s another picture of the Method bead grip and Baja bosses flexing from this weekend. Was running them at 12 psi with an impressive amount of tire flex on the rocks with no issues!

Method bead grip is awesome, I bought mine in 2020 and love them.

I had a slow leak when under 10 PSI from some crap that was stuck in the bead. That tire went completely flat when I was out snow wheeling and I drove it for a mile not realizing and didn't lose the bead. I had Discount Tire clean it out and it's been good since. The techs have mentioned how big of a pain it is to break the beads on these wheels.

I do quite a bit of snow wheeling and regularly air down to 4-5 PSI and have never lost a bead. I've been as low as 2 PSI in deep snow when I was out recovering a broken snowmobile. I can't speak to the wheel spinning on the tire though. I should mark mine and test it out.

They’re such great tires. What psi do you run on the road? Mickey support recommended 27psi cold. It’s worked out great for me. Identical tire. Your diesel might want more though with the extra weight. I’m curious.

Right about 27 psi!

I REALLY need to do a chalk test, but after 12K miles, I haven't noticed any odd wear. ?
