Personally I just can't get super excited about any of the basic colors except maybe Silver. Silver is nice, but I have a Silver Grand Cherokee now so looking to mix things up a bit. Gobi, Granite & Sting Gray were my faves, but after seeing several JLs around town in Sting Gray I'm less of a fan of that one. So still holding out for my Granite LE.

I'm just hoping that if this info below is true, and Jeep is running out of steel bumpers (and LED light kits next), it won't affect the later LE builds (i.e. Granite). I'm assuming the existing orders already have parts allotted and that's why they are running out for new orders. Maybe that will help get Granite into production sooner (if they can't make other custom orders due to lack of parts). Of course, Jeep has proven with the JT rollout that assumptions and common sense should be thrown out the door.
I have a feeling the steel bumpers are out because of all are being used in the production of LE... Regarding the price and cross shopping for a full size truck - IMO it is just apples to oranges. I don't think anyone looking for a full size truck will like a mid size truck. I was really not interested in a full size truck and all the comparison is lost on me because the Gladiator is just unique - you can take the top, doors and windshield off... #shrug

Finally put my order in today. Worked a deal that my wife bought a JLU Sport S with the CDI and I got employee pricing for my JT. So now we have 2 new Jeeps coming and just one garage to fight over:punch:
Good luck with getting that gladiator in the garage. It will fit in mine with just 3 inches to spare.

Ordered an Overland yesterday, was surprised to find that the Gladiator is not eligible for the employee purchase program. Similar to the Track Hawk.

I'm in the same boat. Very small 1 car garage. Looks like the mower needs a tarp shed built. That will be another fight with the wife lady:punch:

It is if you can negotiate it with your dealer. You don't need a CDI to get that price. Just find a dealer willing to come off the sticker. I am paying EP for my Gladiator.

Just my two cents but it seems to me the big demand for the Gladiator is coming mostly from Jeep wrangler type owners who want the convenience of a truck with the features of the Wrangler. These are buyers who might otherwise pass on the Wrangler for a mid size too. I don't see many full size truck buyers going the Gladiator route. It really fits into it's own segment in a lot of ways.

Kinda different with me. Right now we have 3 SUVs. I ride my Grand Cherokee pretty hard off road and need something that can handle rougher stuff. A Wrangler makes no sense put a Gladiator does. Had a 2002 Tacoma, hated it, and unloaded it probably less than 2 years later. Haven't seen a truck that checks all the boxes until now.

I have a 3 car garage ... one bay is my camper and the other is my Honda Pilot (soon to be wife's car). I have about 1 foot of clearance, but then I will have nowhere for my work bench. I was more worried the height would be an issue, but fortunately it looks like I have a foot to spare.

I keep my JKU in the garage right now, but I have about 12 inches left with the Gladiator in there according to spec and my measurements. I hope it's not going to be a pain to park it each night. Glad I opted for front camera :)

I also ordered the trail cam, I figured there are tons more reasons to have it other than off-roading

How tall is your garage door?

None have sold at my local dealership. They keep posting them on the jeep groups and forums. They are at $1500 under invoice. Theyvhave had a couple on the lot for about a week now. Honestly think Jeep over produced and over priced the market for the JL. Now they have over priced the Gladiator for the market.
I remember when the Mazda Miata's came out, dealerships were jacking up the prices selling them anywhere from $10000 to $20000 more than they were worth.
