Or they got a shipment of paint ?I haven’t had any noise but after seeing this thread it made me want to check. Mine is a 23 rubicon and it looks like all the front end components had multiple checks done.![]()

I was gonna say, maybe that's an option nowOr they got a shipment of paint ?

This is AWESOME! Thanks...definitely have a progressively worse clicking/creaking noise from the front while turning/braking at low speeds. Sounds like this is the fix.Indeed, although having just checked on mine, the upper would only be accessible with a crows foot, or maybe during a brand new install? Otherwise no room in there for a conventional torque wrench setup with just a socket. The lower castle nut is an easy check (in case anyone’s thinking of tackling this for the 1st time, like me).
While the wheels were off I checked a few other suspension fasteners. Some of the torque specs I had to hunt down on the JL site: some are under “suspension” and some under “steering” headings

Be careful using old torque charts found elsewhere or of the JL. many specs have changed for the JT and there's various ball joint/knuckle combinations with different specs. This is AWESOME! Biggest that will fit the hole is what i always use on any part.Going to be checking mine tomorrow. Is there a specific size cotter pin? Or just take it over to my local auto parts shop and compare?
Thanks
Makes sense - thanksBiggest that will fit the hole is what i always use on any part.
Can’t answer as to when but definitely a resounding yes to checking the 23. Please post what you found.Do we know when the factory caught and resolved this? They were loose on my 20 and my wife's 21. Do I need to check the 23?
What she said.....Biggest that will fit the hole is what i always use on any part.
