I haven’t had any noise but after seeing this thread it made me want to check. Mine is a 23 rubicon and it looks like all the front end components had multiple checks done.

Indeed, although having just checked on mine, the upper would only be accessible with a crows foot, or maybe during a brand new install? Otherwise no room in there for a conventional torque wrench setup with just a socket. The lower castle nut is an easy check (in case anyone’s thinking of tackling this for the 1st time, like me).
While the wheels were off I checked a few other suspension fasteners. Some of the torque specs I had to hunt down on the JL site: some are under “suspension” and some under “steering” headings

This is AWESOME! Thanks...definitely have a progressively worse clicking/creaking noise from the front while turning/braking at low speeds. Sounds like this is the fix.

Be careful using old torque charts found elsewhere or of the JL. many specs have changed for the JT and there's various ball joint/knuckle combinations with different specs.
I'd use only the links provided by @Lunentucker or if Hootbro has provided any, his would also be current/accurate.

Some of these specs out there in other places are dated or don't apply to current JT configurations. And some are just wrong - found from other companies and so on. I got mine from the dealership when a service advisor logged into their tech site and took screenshots for me - fuzzy to view but they were correct. Others, like the two I mentioned above, have gone above and beyond, PAID for the specs and then shared them just to be helpful and get correct information out there.

Going to be checking mine tomorrow. Is there a specific size cotter pin? Or just take it over to my local auto parts shop and compare?

Thanks

Tightened them up with new cotter pins. Seems like it took care of the problem on my neighborhood test drive.

Thanks all!

Do we know when the factory caught and resolved this? They were loose on my 20 and my wife's 21. Do I need to check the 23?

I've got no clicks or clacks at the moment, but next time I'm under there I'll check it and report back.

Hmm, I have a low speed click when turning out of my neighborhood. I'll have to check these. Always figured it was something in my center console or under my rear seat , now I'm wondering.......
