I’m pretty sure I measured them and set the Tazer to 36.23” mounted and weight on the truck. They are just over 36” mounted with weight on them. With the Rubicon highline fenders I would have been ok going with 38x13.5 but they were almost $150/tire more.
You could definitely not a 38. I went and looked at a set of 39 12.5 17 Kanati mud hogs I was considering that had 1000 miles on them. The guy wanted $800 for them but told me he would come down to $600 when I got there and we were talking. They would of fit on mine with the ReadyLift 2.5" sst lift kit and the Rubicon take-off suspension I got on mine based on me rolling them up and looking at them beside mine. The 90lbs a piece and them looking extremely Rugged was why I passed but they would of looked great on my JT. Mine looks like this currently

I just went out and looked, they are probably 36.1 to 36.2”. It’s over 36 but not a lot....maybe I set the Tazer 36.1x, I don’t recall. Either way my Speedo is spot on with GPS.... it’s over 36 regardless.... Tread looks good with only 3500 on them... You can see that feint yellow line, that is where you would want the “normal pressure” contact point to run, and with 35-37 lbs of air, it stays there pretty well. I’ve let them drop to 31 psi due to temp changes and you can start to hear the outer lugs when making turns on on ramps.

If looking at the Pats, don’t go “black label”, I think they are a softer compound for rock crawling and you will PAY for them. I think Northridge4x4 has them in 37” for over $400 a tire and I’m suspecting they won’t last long on the road.

I don't particularly need a M/T, haven't ran one in a while, been running KO2S for my last 4 sets of tires dating back to my JKU, 3 sets in a 35 one set in a 37. Was on 3:73 gears in the JKU and it was a dog on 37's with 3.8 and I didn't run them but maybe 12,000 miles before switching back to 35's because of the performance, definitely needed a regear in the JKU for sure. I'm trying to avoid that with JT and feel like 8f I pick the tire right I can based on my Buddies performance he's getting on 37 KO2S on JT Max Tow. He's getting close to 18mpgs average and has been over that on a few long trips, which is exactly where I'm trying to be. He drives a little more aggressive than I do, so I feel like I may be able to get a little better but I would be pleased to stay just above 17mpgs, that's my goal. That's why tire weight is important to me and looks the Pats weigh only 72lbs which would make them only 1lb heavier than a BFG KO2. I would imagine the Pats are taller mounted for sure than a KO2 which has to be taken into consideration as well. I have zero experience with that Pat's. I have plenty of experience with the KO2s and some with the Cooper M/Ts, never the Cooper ATs. The Cooper M/Ts I ran on my XJ did great but the on road life was not so great about 30,000 miles which isn't all that bad for a M/T but I'd rather not be buying tires at 30,000 miles especially after spending $1200 on them.
Definitely aim light then. They are bearable with the stock 4:10 gears as long as you aren't in real mountains but having driven a loaded up JLUR with 37 inch Grabber X3s, I would not want to be on heavy 37s for a daily driver. It was fine once up to speed but there was no 8th unless downhill and it was a dog off the line.

If you aren't sure you need MTs, then I'd pass. If you've had that many KO2s in the past it sounds like it's the right kind of tire for you because you'd clearly know by now if it wasn't sufficient.

How wide are the tires... they look narrow in a couple pics... which is better for what I like to do...

They are supposed to be 37x12.5 but never actually measured them. When I get moving today I’ll Rey too get a good measurement with them on the Jeep. My guess is some of the other tires may squat a little due to design and running a little less air, which makes them appear wider. These are more of a crowned design too as mentioned before, so it runs on the center 3/4 or 2/3 of the tire for DD driving so they will appear narrower.

I had the 35" Patagonias on the Gladiator until just recently. To be honest, I bought them due to price for my previous JK and didn't really know a lot about them. I was surprised on how quiet they were and their performance off road. I ran them for well over a year on the JK before I put them on the new JTR. Ran them for another 4700 miles on the JTR before selling them to a buddy. I was very happy with the tread life. Well over 85% left. For some reason, they were much louder on the JT than the JK. My buddy also commented that "these tires are loud!" Didn't really bother me. They were still quieter than a lot of tires I've run on my Jeeps: MTR's, Toyo MT, ProComp Xtreme MT.

When switching to 37's, weight was a big factor for me also. I really wanted Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but just couldn't get over their weight. Spendy too. I was all set to get the 37" Patagonias when my buddy told me about the Mastercraft Courser MXT. Same low price as the Pats, but weighed 69 lbs each. They are made by Cooper Tire here in the USA. I kind of wish they made their CXT hybrid in a 37", but they don't. I decided to give them a try. So far I like them on road and in the snow. They are very quiet, but noise doesn't really bother me.

For you sticking with an A/T tire, my opinion is the Jeep Gladiator needs a somewhat aggressive looking tire. I am sure the Coopers are a good tire, but they look like they should be on a Buick! The BFG is a great looking tire. But, here in the PNW, the BFG AT didn't work out very good for me off road on my TJ years ago. The tread clogged up with everything I ran over. Great tires otherwise.

Good luck on choosing! So fun!
