Update of progress:
New twin cyl air pump
I settled on a single-burner Blackstone
Fabed a Diesel heater temporary mount and ran a hose to the tent.
Reconfigured the recovery gear kit.
Redid the toolbox to make it lighter.

Amazing setup!!! How are you mounting your diesel heater? I thought about mounting mine when I'm stationary using it but haven't come up with a clean setup.

Soun ds like a great trip! I love that area and can't wait to go back. I did lots of that in stock Rubi, and it was slow going for sure... we did it, but thinking of an upgrade!

I am looking at the Clayton and Falcon combo... which set did you do? Overland 3.5? You also said you put on 37s, and am curious if you re-geared? I live here in Colorado, so am torn between 35/37s as doing the regear for 37s is another chunk of change.

37's and 5.13's. I would say that combo is about perfect. Clayton for the win, no doubt. I use the Clayton 3.5" overland kit with heavier springs. I also run airbags in the rear. I use the Falcon 3.3's and am very close to the Softest setting. I passed a dozen stock rubies if I passed one. Same story each time, they were going Sooooo slow. I found I could double their speed easily. Later I figured out it was the suspension along with the taller sidewall. 17" wheels and a 37" tire @ 18 lbs. is such a nice ride. You might note I am also using the Icon bead lock wheels which takes all the worry out of airing down a bunch more, but frankly, I found nothing that I couldn't just drive over in the San Juan mountains. Now having said that I only did several days wheeling there so there are many trails I have not yet seen that no doubt might challenge the Jeep a bunch more.

What airbags did you go with?
The FIrestone ones this time...And for now on. Higher quality than the Air Lift I have used in other trucks/cars.

Another day in the rearview mirror.

Today was a bit more fun as I engaged my "design-it-as-I-go" brain and started adding holes here and there.

As usual, detailed writeup(s) are over on the other site.

Building this a couple of hours here and there as I work it in amongst other projects/disturbances!

Today I cut in the main drawer opening for the stove and built some other pieces along with the second drawer.

Work continues. Just an hour or two each day, but I am finally getting there, finally. So here is the kitchen drawer almost completely configured. One drawer for a two-burner cooktop, a cutting board, wash basin, flip-up table top, and multiple storage areas for groceries, cookware, cutlery, pots and pans, and a small cat. Should all fit, right?
