Got my Ram Mounts JL/JT dash Tough Track:
https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-DT-204-TRACK-A12U

I also purchased two t slot ball mounts and their spring mounted phone holder. I’ve been using the suction cup mount and an X-Grip for my phone.

Installation is super easy. You mount the track to the plate and the plate to the dash after you remove the tray liner

its very low profile:

And with some stuff mounted up:

I already had the arms. The plate is $40 on its own. So far I really like it. Time will tell. I’m sure this won’t fall down like my suction cup mount!

No need to video really. I can see plenty from the pictures you took. I am curious on that phone holder and how it works though. It looks adjustable on the sides and the spring tension is from top to bottom?

Yes, i've been using the X-Grip for a while, and wanted something that was more one handed. Trying out the Quick-Grip, which has a spring loaded claw on the top. The side things are optional and they are screwed down. I have mine mounted upside down to save space. When i jump in the truck i can just push down and drop the phone in place.

I went with the Bulletproof holder as well. Very happy so far!

Does your mounts have only one 20mm ball on them? it appears that there is only one ball on each side unlike the mount that presage posted. I was just curious if they sold them single or double balled. Lol

I went with the Bullet Proof set up as well. I'm happy with it, seems well made. I was able to crank down the screws super tight without feeling like I would break it.

I went with the Gibson holster solution. I then loaded it with a wireless fast charger that is wired directly to the switched 12V circuit behind the 12V port. It charges quickly and I can plug in Android Auto for nav with no discharge issues from the low output USB ports.

Question. Does this mount tilt at all towards the driver or just faces forward?
I have the pro clip as well in all of them JT/JL/JK. and my Ram. Excellent quality and easy to remove. I use a ball mount adapter you can buy from proclip and a Nato mount so you can face it where every you want.

I'm looking at this option. I have his key fob holster and quality is top notch. With auto Android, I really don't want the phone mounted anywhere.

Smart idea with the wireless pad.
