Do you have a pic without the bed loaded?
Just went and snapped one. I went with the Rancho kit as I heard too many people complaining about the additional sag when they added a bumper/winch with the Daystar kit. The updated springs should prevent that and keep it pretty much where it is now.

What steel bumper did you go with? Is your Rubicon gas or diesel?
Fab Fours stubby. I have a gas Sport S with Rubicon suspension swapped in

Thanks for the input guys i ended up finding that most people ended up adding or wanting the additional 3/4” in the rear so just went ahead with the 1” to give me a little bit of wiggle room(exactly 1/2” lower in front) when carrying/towing heavy loads. Came out awesome!

I would go 1" (I'm thinking that as well on my Sport S). I actually like a little rake and loathe the Tacoma pre-runner look on a daily driver (that's just my opinion).
I went 1” check out the pics sits perfect...exactly 1/2” higher in the rear. I would say do the full 1-1/2” if planning for steel bumper/winch.

Sport S and did the Rancho 1.5" Level it! kit...going to add a 3/4" spacer in the rear as I belive it sits a bit high in the front. this photo makes it seem like there's more front end lift as it generally looks perfectly level, but I have about 400lbs of concrete bags in the bed:

I’m highly considering the rancho 1.5 for my Sport S max tow. Sitting on 33x12.5x17. Would you recommend it for light off roading. Did you change out control arms or track bar ? Thanks

Max tow with LE front springs, 340 and 343, Rubicon shocks, Daystar 1.5” front and .75 rear spacers, Mopar LCAs from the 2” lift kit. 34” Toyo tires.

It's been great so far. Nothing was changed other than the shocks/springs/bump stops and sway bar end links (all included in the kit). I went with the RS5000 shocks due to previous experience with those shocks on a Wrangler JKU. You may want to look at the RS9000 as they're adjustable.

Thanks for your input. I have the rancho 5000x on my TJ and they have worked out great. I did install a rancho quick lift on a Sierra that I’ve now sold that came with the 9000 adjustable rancho shocks and tbh I could not feel much a difference when I set them from soft to hard setting when I was trying to fine tune them but I could tell the rear 9000 shocks were far superior than the stock shocks I removed.

So measuring from ground to bottom of the fender is probably not a good representation of level, I don’t believe the fenders are the same height when the truck is actually sitting level. My front fender height was about 1-1.5” higher when it was level. You need a consistent measuring point on the frame or maybe at the front and rear edge of the pinch seams to tell if the truck is sitting level. With my front fenders higher with my level, my pinch seam was dead on front to rear.

I did 1 inch of the 1.5 inch Teraflex leveling kit when I put my Rubicon takeoffs on. I wish I had done the entire 1.5.

Edited to add, I would add the rear air bags to level it back out if the squat is a concern
Hello- what specific air bags are you speaking of?
Thanks

This is with the Teraflex 1.5 in front and ICON 1 3/8 in the back. I added the back because the rear squatted a bit with the rollbar and diamond back cover and the bit of gear in the bed. Tires are 285/70R17. Fuel wheels with about extra 1.5-2in backspacing. Not sure since they were installed by dealer, but the tires definitely stick out about that. For the tire size, i think its perfect. Front was definitely way too low before.

I went with the full 1-1/2” because I have the factory steel bumper and a Zeon 10s winch, it was really doing the nose dive, it does squat a bit loaded, I will add the 3/4” in the rear soon

How does the truck handle off road with the level kit on? Are you guys finding no change, or is it bottoming out in the dips?
