It takes a lot but now I'm officially PISSED OFF!!! Call with Jeep customer service today, now being told that my LE is still in shipping and waiting for a full rail car or truck before it is to be shipped. Every since it went to KZS status 10 days ago I've been told it's on a rail car, I've been told it's on a truck, I've been told they don't know where it is and now I'm told IT IS STILL AT THE @#$%^! PLANT WAITING TO BE SHIPPED! Meanwhile I see multitudes of vehicles being delivered for orders nearly A FULL MONTH AFTER MY ORDER WAS SUBMITTED!!!!! I went and bought a new Toyota Highlander for my wife last week (we contemplated a Jeep but not after this)...when I told the Toyota guy I had a Gladiator ordered he laughed and wished me luck on fulfillment, he said FCA order fulfillment is well know across the industry as poor. I guess he is correct.

Manual. I've yet to contact jeep cares, my MAS guy is right behind my complex, so I walk right over for updates. I pulled my VIN and delivery date right off his screen, which he says feeds from jeep. So take that for what you will.

No build date, but a delivery date leads me to believe Oct 7 could be a placeholder date. I would hope it will slide sooner, but one never knows.

Hey All and @JeepCares,

I ordered my Red Rubicon optioned out on May 13th.

I am still in BG status along with a few other friends up here in Canada. The latest story from the FCA rep is a "hardtop shortage"....Really!?!?!?!

The dealerships are showing everybody in BG or BE right now, and people are starting to lobby groups to cancel orders en masse.

@JeepCares, what gives? When people are posting about Oct 7th delivery dates in the U.S., what does that mean for us up here in the great white north? There's no more basketball games, hockey season's done and the annual Henri Tupperware moosehunt hasnt yet begun, boring.

On the flip side, Toyota does not really do custom orders. They just plug your wish list into the closest thing they can find on their lot, dealer transfer network or they get out the next calendar quarter allotment pre build sheet and plug you into one of those coming up for build.

Regardless, I get your frustration. I got the run around with FCA customer care and thought my Gladiator as I was being told by them it was stuck on their lot pushing two weeks when it just showed up at my dealership unexpected by both me and them. It is not a cookie cutter product where one can expect first in, first out for an order.

You have to admit that when promised "white glove" treatment with regular updates but haven't anything at all it is pretty frustrating. That coupled with identical spec'd being ordered after but built and delivered across the country before is just the cherry on top.

I type this as my gladiator sits somewhere in st Louis since last weekend when the dealer is just two hours away.

So I left to go visit my father out of state hoping to have had the Jeep before I left. Obviously with customer service telling me this morning it hadn’t been shipped No chance of that. I get to hotel at midnight and I have a late email from my dealer that “the eagle has landed”. I said to my wife before we had left the house this evening “watch it show up after we leave”. Excited it will be lifted, ready and waiting when I return on Tuesday...but dammit just my luck.

Congrats! My salesman sent me a photo of an overland that arrived today at his dealership....that was ordered a week after I ordered mine

I’m the most impatient person on earth. Trust me it’s worth it to wait . I will leave a review after my trip home but so far I’m blown away how it drives .

Here it is waiting on lift and new treads. I’m 500 miles away. Looks like it will be ready when I return early in the week.
