It happened to me a few days ago but may have been more bad info. I thought I was even in I from what the chat was saying. I am now in JS waiting to move to shipping. At least that is what I am being told. Be patient a little more.Just had this happen to me, has there been any movement on yours? Mine is just a black sport without anything fancy...
Still in JB, nothing is clear about what happened. My dealer says its waiting to be shipping very soon, but people on here are saying it could be "ready to ship" for 3 weeks. My dealer also assured me that it wasn't a failed inspection and isn't a step back. Ordered a pretty basic Overland with no bed liner.Just had this happen to me, has there been any movement on yours? My dealer was not quite that supportive.@Coyote Ya its pretty messed up they are adding that to peoples existing orders and expecting them to pay for it. Ive never heard anything like that happening before but at least your dealer is being cool about it and not charging you for it. Good on them.
That's messed up. They should never do that to a custom order and the dealership definitely shouldn't make you pay for it. That wasn't on the build sheet you signed not what you ordered. My dealer was not quite that supportive.
Dealer: You expect me to eat that cost?
Me: I don't expect either of us to eat the cost. I expect you to tell Jeep that this isn't right and that we can't do this to our customers.
Contact the BBB. Let your dealership know that you are going to report them, not the factory. See what happens. My dealer was not quite that supportive.

BBB threats do not carry the weight they use to. Only old people care about or check BBB ratings of a business before purchase.Contact the BBB. Let your dealership know that you are going to report them, not the factory. See what happens.
