Yeah I don't ever trade... It only benefits the dealer. I am very comfortable selling it outrightI don’t know about everyone else, but it seems to be way harder to sell privately rather than to take a small loss and trade in your vehicle nowadays.
Are you still making payments on the Jeep? That could play a part in how fast you want to sell, making trading in more attractive. If the Jeep is paid off and you’re not in a rush, sure, sell privately if you can.
I do agree it’s better to turn back to stock as much as possible. Dealers can use your modifications to actually devalue your Jeep (If trading in). Most of the time if you trade in (taking a small loss) and sell all your mods separately, you can make up for what you lost in the trade in.
Either way, I’m sure the marketplace on the forum or even Facebook will aid in helping with selling the aftermarket parts.
