Well it's back at the dealer again.
It died on me yesterday when I went to drive it after being out of town for 2 days. It started up fine. After starting up and driving down the street it started to make the claddering noise and studder and died while in motion. I was able to restart it and it still claddered and studder for a bit and it eventually stopped doing that and was able to drive it back home. This time I took video of the noise and what it was doing since the dealer was not able to recreate it last time.
This morning I went to drive to the dealer to have them look at it and then again about 5 minutes after starting up, it died again while in motion. Same thing, was able to restart it and get it to the dealer.
Showed the service manager the video and he said that he hasn't heard of anything like this. They are going to look at the video and do some more testing. But they have no clue what is going on.
It appears to happen within a short period of time of starting up after sitting overnight or for a long period of time.
The video is too large to post on the forums, but will upload it so you guys can see/hear whats going on.
At this point, if they can't figure it out, I might start the buyback and possibly get a new 2023 or go a different route. Don't want to get rid of the diesel gladiator but this one is getting less and less reliable.
