Any pictures or details? I also like to reinforce prior to failures.Shift Autowerx in Escondido ca. has developed a rear fame brace. I ordered mine today. Others may want to look into this before you bend the frame. I am about building my truck not to beak. I saw the brace, looks legit.
How much weight are you placing in your rear end that would cause it to bend?Shift Autowerx in Escondido ca. has developed a rear fame brace. I ordered mine today. Others may want to look into this before you bend the frame. I am about building my truck not to beak. I saw the brace, looks legit.
You mean as discussed in multiple other threads? How much weight are you placing in your rear end that would cause it to bend?
Yeah, refer to the other threads - WHERE these are happening, and to who, etc.I thought the bent frame thing was from people towing and doing whoop-de-dos and hard brake while coming off a jump and the trailer basically is crashing into hitch and accident crumple zone is affected, not? Have to look into it though…..Jack
Here is something from one of the older threads....JackHere's a report from two engineers on the gladiator frame and the zr2
What's the lighten up bit? Just suggesting that there's other threads on the damage, where geologically they are mostly happening, and there's even posts about the brackets being sold to attach to the frame.Bill lighten up, it is on the forum here somewhere and it is not just Gladiators, I guess I can search but basically said that about looking into it. There are several different posts.....Jack
In the other threads on this - it seemed to be tha the force - or fulcrum area that holds part of the frame while the other can take a dive, was right around that shock. Is that not correct? All that said, I'm not sure this product is the solution? I saw Brad's video showing it installed and it looked like it didn't even go to the rear shock mount? Also, who has the skillz and will tear down far enough to properly weld it on in the first place?
