Shift Autowerx in Escondido ca. has developed a rear fame brace. I ordered mine today. Others may want to look into this before you bend the frame. I am about building my truck not to beak. I saw the brace, looks legit.

Any pictures or details? I also like to reinforce prior to failures.

I missed up and should have taken pictures of the support. Reach out to shift and see if they will send a picture. I did let them know I mentioned this, they plan on do a full install videos on the bosses JT. The support and how it installs looks legit. The place has a good reputation with the San Diego Jeep club

How much weight are you placing in your rear end that would cause it to bend?

I thought the bent frame thing was from people towing and doing whoop-de-dos and hard brake while coming off a jump and the trailer basically is crashing into hitch and accident crumple zone is affected, not? Have to look into it though…..Jack

You mean as discussed in multiple other threads?

Yeah, refer to the other threads - WHERE these are happening, and to who, etc.

The whole damn frame flexes like mad even unloaded! I can hear the roof gaskets squeaking just traveling through a smooth roller without any load in the truck.......

With the Alucab equipped trucks, put your hand between the camper overhang and the roof of the cab while driving down the road and you will know the frame is flexing even under the smallest load changes. I had to spend a lot of time with mellowing out the high speed damping on shock tunes that worked great on trucks without campers, but those oscillations were amplified with the camper on board.

Same with a heavier trailer........All seemed good till I hooked up to my dump trailer and you could see the back half of the truck flexing during the high shaft speed events.....back to the drawing board for yet another revision after thinking I was done?

If I had my way, I would probably reinforce the frame from about the driver's feet back to the rear coil buckets. Obviously if it doesn't flex some, it will probably break, but the frame is only good for a certain number of cycles before it's fatigued and fails?

All that said, I'm not sure this product is the solution? I saw Brad's video showing it installed and it looked like it didn't even go to the rear shock mount? Also, who has the skillz and will tear down far enough to properly weld it on in the first place?

What's the lighten up bit? Just suggesting that there's other threads on the damage, where geologically they are mostly happening, and there's even posts about the brackets being sold to attach to the frame.

In the other threads on this - it seemed to be tha the force - or fulcrum area that holds part of the frame while the other can take a dive, was right around that shock. Is that not correct?
Is that area also the HSS parts of the frame, which take a bit different approach with welding, or is that not an area that's HSS?
