Both are live features of Tazer as they are not software selections in the programming.
That means tazer must be installed and left in place to work.

I've been thinking of grabbing some wiring diagrams and see what it would take to trigger the camera with turn signals.
As far as auto stop/start, you don't need to spend a dime for that - push the @#$%@ button.
You push a button to start it, you move a shifter to start moving - just one more event in the sequence of events you go through every single time you enter your truck and make it move.
It's free - push a button. After a week or two you'll do it and never give it a thought.

Otherwise, I know there were a couple of people on Youtube that came up with a cheap circuit to do that for those who are too lazy or forgetful to push a single button once before driving away - their circuits cost something like 25 bucks. one was installed on a Grand Cherokee. Same system so if it works on one Jeep it will work on any Jeep.
lol I love it when people say "just push the button"
Do you pop into threads and tell people who have hood struts "just use the hood prop"

Apples and oranges.
A former mechanic, I have always seen hood props as a safety issue, and in the way when performing certain repairs or mods. The plastic bits break.
I have hood struts for safety. I have hood struts because when I run wires and do other things under the hood, I want a clear passage left to right. Yeah, I also have a steel beam running through the center of the house under the floor joists so I don't have posts in the basement holding things up. Clear span.

If I want the ESS to not function, I press a button.
Totally different things.
I fasten seat belt, check mirrors, press brake, shift into gear - what's pushing a button? Is it that difficult to do or remember? So gee, you hit the first stop light and the engine shuts off. So you forgot - you press the button, problem solved.

If you have been keeping track or read other threads, you'd see I'm very far from being the only one to have ever made that comment - I didn't come up with it first, I'm just one of several who have also suggest that as a cheap/free, easy solution to one of life's obviously major mega world problems.

Some just have a love affair with tazer and can't understand how others can possibly get by, or how they figure out anything without it.
Fine if you want and love it and like to explain how wonderful it is and life without it sucks. Me, meh, I've no need. Doesn't do anything i need or want. I prefer tools that are more flexible.

To each their own.

If you really can't handle pressing a button, spend about $100 bucks with a forum sponsor and get the device that kills ESS each time you start your Jeep. You'll be supporting a sponsor and having something totally simple and unintrusive that you can leave in the Jeep until the end of time, even through dealer visits!
Install it and forget it. Fraction of the price, simple, hidden, dealer will never know its there.
So if that's the big problem of life, buy that simple plug-n-play device and just leave it in place. Cheap and easy. One of life's biggest issues is thus solved.

Still amuses me. As if I never thought to press the button.
And I know you're not the only one to make the comment, I've heard it before.
If you're worried about the hood being a safety issue, just put the hood all the way back and use a bungee cord or ratchet strap. It's much cheaper than buying hood struts.
To each their own though, right? Hood struts are super convenient, I get that. So is not hitting a button every time I get into the jeep.
