You have to remove the stock rails as the top of the hinged step will go up between the rail and the body.

So, here is what I got back from them today on Instagram. SUPER STOKED.

Great news. I'm on the waiting list to be notified when they're available to order. Plan on getting the body mount ones that install the same as the stock Rubicon rails. Hopefully the price will be about the same.

My lovely wife is too short for standard slider rails, so we went this route (as has already been discussed):

4500 miles of hard offroading, to include some massive rock crawls and not a single issue. I weigh in at 235, have buds that top 300 and they're doing just fine so far..

I like these a lot...but have heard some issues with corrosion. Especially living in the rust belt area. If I wasn't concerned about that I'd jump on these.

We have two options. Our Classic Slider that bolts onto the body mounts and pinch weld and our Crusader that mounts to the body mount and body. Both are designs that we have tested extensively, and both offer a ton of protection from rocks, trees, and the occasional shopping cart.

SHOOT, just realized its body mounted, not frame....wonder when the frame ones will show up.

Roam just sent me a pic of their body mount JT Rails
We have the same set on my wife's 4dr and they have taken a fair amount of abuse from Rocks and our 4 wild boys.
They informed me that JT sets will all be E-Coated unlike the early JL steps

They also offer a truck bed type liner option, also E-coated
