I have the Rustyā€™s sliders as well. Personally I bought them over the Shrockworks was the way they mounted to the frame as well.

The only negative thing I have to say about the Rustyā€™s sliders is that the front body mount on both sides didnā€™t line up. I ended up having to open the hole up with a carbide cutting bit and spray painting the hole afterwards.

Either way it aint too bad there is always gonna be some variance, especially in manufacturing were metal heats and expands and warps, but yeah either way it kinda sucks :l

I saw some Mopar heavy duty steel powder coated steps (Not plastic) on a new Jeep Gladiator Mojave on the show room floor. They were $1050 on the sticker as an option. The parts guy said you couldnā€™t get them aftermarket, yet I found these with 606 ending number on ExtremeTerrain and the same number was stamped both sides on the Jeep I saw on the floor. I wonder if they are the same?

Has anyone heard anything from ROAM?
I was in love with theirs.. emailed Anthony out there every couple months and occasionally called for updates. It's been roughly a month and a half or so.. but when I last checked, still not ready. I went ahead and went with the Rockhard 4X4 angled up sliders. I couldn't be happier, they are ridiculously beefy and meant to be used on the trail. Plus, I like the 'minimalist' sort of look on the JT. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, it's not as drastic in person. It does show towards the rear of the slider in front of the rear wheel wells. These were definitely built to accommodate guys running big tires and flexing. Both front and rear are just a little short where people will trim the stock slider and pinch welds. This will probably annoy people who plan to stay stock or a small lift. I had to trim my factory slider on my JKU by about 2 inches when I went to 35's before I went to a frame mount.

Nice looking Jeep....I had the Shrockworks sliders on my TJ and they were just perfect. I am going to order these for my Gladiator as well.....how have yours held up thus far?

Bonus for me is that I live 90 minutes from Shrockworks so I do not have to pay shipping...I just go pick them up!

I just got a message from Roam about being added to the wait list. No eta.

WKO just informed me that they didnā€™t have a chance to bring in a JT yet.

PS will be releasing their Sliders in Feb.

Gonna order some stirrup steps for passengers until I decide. Sucks that Roam has been teasing us for a year and nothing.

Well I havenā€™t seen any comments about Road Armorā€™s slider/ stepā€™s so I thought I would chime in here. Bought these prior to having a chance to see any really good details or any reviews existing... Guinean Pig here.
I want to like these but I like them less everyday. Install was straight forward, did myself with a floor jack as my extra hand. The step is excellent, I have an Autistic son and needed a solid step for him to get in and out. Now for the not so good: huge gap between rail and body. All mounting hardware can be seen, ugly factory rocker seam very visible, body gap down the line not constant and they are a pain to rinse mud and debris out of.
Looks wise I kind of equate to a 4ā€ X 6ā€ bolted on to the side of my Gladiator.
Sadly I am on the hunt for something else and therefore following this thread as it is built.

Yep, thatā€™s part of my Christmas this year. BAM is the way to go with free shipping. Will Be taking off my Rubi rock rails to gain the step up before I add bigger tires and a lift next year.
Just ordered: Merry Christmas to me!

So I made the leap of faith to buy the Shrockworks sliders to fit along side my Artec aluminum skid plate. There is only one cut that needs to be made to make it fit.

They are indeed heavy. I used a floor Jack to get them in place for the test fit :)

The piece that needed to be cut was at the middle support, under the frame, on the passenger side.

Iā€™m also drilling out the holes a little to make the bottom bolts flush mount. Iā€™ll throw up some pictures when they are back from the powder coating shop and on the Jeep.
