Luckily I have the soft top so no leak for me, but my previous 5th gen RAM had very similar issues of the cracked slider and water leakage. I didn't have the crack but mine leaked through the 3rd brake light and got the headliner all wet. MOPAR apparently doesn't know how to make windows.

For those of you that are commenting on having it sent out to a 3rd party, I would rather that be done than the ass hats at dealerships try and figure it out.

I dont see a crack in mine, like on page 30 of this thread, but the service writer was aware of the issue.
Next Fri is soonest appointment, and said they just have to go through their motions of seeing/verifying, then contact the work to local glass shop.

Hope parts are available, some of the nightmares in this thread suck, but so far local dealer here at least knows about it and is getting me in fairly soon.

Stinks will have to retint if window is replaced, and getting kids seats in/out is one of the biggest pain in the ass.
Update my experience for PA people, Tri County 422 Jeep was really good so far. I went in to the service bay, guy looked at it, and sent me on my merry way. Ordering glass and will schedule with local glass shop when it gets in.
Pain that it is leaking, but shit happens, and this dealer is doing right so far.

Reluctantly add me into the rear window leak club. Been a dry summer and it now just began to rain here in the PNW and I noticed some water Weds. confirmed it today after last nights rain. Earliest appointment w/ the dealer is middle of Nov.

Disappointingly I have to remove my RLD canopy before they’ll work on it.

Hopefully this will not be a long drawn out drama.
I too have to be added to this club again. Had my rear window replaced about 2 years ago and everything was great until this week. First rain of the season and I have a small leak again and since I am not in warranty any longer it will be on me, it has to be a terrible design to have another problem with a window leak. I refuse to pay for a new window for such a small leak and living in Southern California where rain is not common I will try living with it or I think if it gets worse I will try sealing with silicone in the gap on top of the window

After just less than 2 weeks, was able to bring in my Gladiator for them to look at my rear window. The dealer had no earlier dates. Picked it up today to now await a replacement rear window and to schedule a glass shop to install. Disappointing as this is, my wife’s car now has a windshield crack & it needs replacement.

Will advise the team here results

Sigh, thought I escaped this one, early 2020 build, spends most of it's time in the garage. I was out in a heavy rain the other day, yup, got a few drops running down the window and onto the back wall/sub. Time to try to get an appointment I guess.

Me too. Mine is a 21 and I had no issues last winter/ spring when it rains here in the PNW.

Another one with the rear window leak here as well. Dropped it off yesterday (Benson of Greer, SC) only to be told there's a hair line crack and full window replacement similar to others here. Hopefully the part comes in at the end of the month and then align a schedule with window company, dealer and me.

Yep, one more here with a small rear window leak. 2021 Rubicon. I got it last March with just under 25K miles. I don't want to jinx anything, as I've had no issues as of yet, besides the small leak. I almost do not want to take it to dealer for warranty. May do a quick fix to get through winter then deal with it in the spring.

Confirmed my window is in, now the dealer needs to schedule with the window installer. Of course due to Thanksgiving holiday, that scheduling won’t occur until Mon at the earliest. I hope it won’t take too long…….

I'll add mine to the list... 2020 model and mine has been leaking as well... tried to fix with tucking weather stripping in around the window, but no luck... went out this morning after rain overnight and back seat is wet and water running down inside of back window. at 62k miles, I'm out of warranty... so I guess it's on me to resolve. Any ideas short of getting glass company to replace are welcomed. For those that have had rear glass replaced on your dime, what was the cost?

Update — Pulled the interior widow trim back and found the water was weeping in at the folded metal tab 6” from the corner of the window. The water eventually wicks along the upper window frame and drips above the slider as well.

Laid a couple coats of flowable 81730 silicone from the exterior. No more leak.

Poor design or poor installation process. Maybe both.

Hopefully this takes care of it.
Are you talking about the trim on the top of the window? Was it easy to remove? How was it held on?

I have a 2022 that has a rear window small leak, top driver side. Going to try and put weatherseal in until I can get to the dealership. 5,122 miles and 3 months old.

got quote from a couple different local glass guys. Looks like the going rate is about $1k.

Add mine to the list. 2021 Overland 24,000 miles. Dealer ordered me a new rear window today. The frame is cracked on the window at the top center. Hope when they replace my top will not be damaged. It is a painted top. At least it’s still under warranty.

Slip your finger behind the panel and GENTLY pry the clip free. You’re sealing from the outside, not the inside. If you just want to verify the leak location, just peek under the lower edge of the trim panel. No need to remove it.
