Upgraded to 35x12.5x17 yesterday and scared the crap out of myself this morning pulling out of my driveway.

catching big time out the inside of the arches on both sides. Not even on full lock.

So I’m thinking wheel spacers might be a quick fix? Anyone running them with stock wheels and suspension?

I just put 315/70R17 KO2's on mine yesterday, already had a Teraflex 1.75" wheel spacer and zero rub at full lock. I have an Overland with 1.5 leveling kit in the front. And I have the Extreme Recon wheels off a 392...

Good to know. Im looking at spacers right now!

I suppose it makes sense that i would be rubbing slightly on the inside. The extra tire bulge and all.

What trim level are you driving? The stock wheels aren't all the same. (I'm guessing it's a Rubicon from the shock...?)

Interesting. I never had any rubbing running stock on 315/70/17s, even with some light/moderate off-roading and disconnected.

Yep it’s a Rubicon.
I dunno, maybe it’s the fact they’re brand new tires?

from my younger car modding days, I was going to drill into the plastic arch and put a cable tie through it to pull it closer to the body. There’s nothing on the other side though lol

I've got a stock Rubicon. Just added 35's with the Jeep XR wheels. No rubbing at all.

Are you rubbing on the air damp or skid plate? I had zero rubbing with my 315 70 17 or 37 12.5 17 with no wheel spacers on stock wheels full lock, both brand new tires at the time. The 315 with no lift at all and still didn't rub. Mine is max tow. Most of the time it's either the air damp on the bumper or the one underneath that you hit on with max tow or Rubicon, other models it's the lower control arm.

I fixed that with two ( one on each side) zip ties pulling the corner of the fender liner in. Drill a 1/4” hole in the liner, pull it in a little, done.

I guess some have different designed inner liners for whatever reason. Mine does have have that extra lip on it like yours does. That's crazy, not sure why they would switch up but I guess they have their reasons

Yeah I’m going to get my wife in it later on and see how close I am elsewhere.
Ordered some 1.75” spacers but I’m honestly thinking about just cutting the fender.

I'd just trim them and be done. The spacers are going widen your stance a good bit and affect your MPGs. I think I went up from 17.2 to 17.9 mpg's when I took my spacers off with the 37's. That extra width allows more air to get up inside those fender flares.

When I went to 0 offset, I lost some highway mpgs too. Now I get worse mpg on the highway than in the city
