Anyone running those? The ones that have a lip that covers most of the sill area. For those that have them, any issue with the door sealing up good or causing the door to not shut good? Ive seen complaints before with others.

They work as intended. I had them on my previous Gladiator. They are made of hard plastic. For the new Gladiator, I installed a set of Rubber ones from Amazon with the Since 1941 logo. They are the same size and shape of the Rugged Ridge ones but are made out of flexible rubber instead of hard plastic.

I went with the Quadratec sill guards. Fit great and door seals just fine.

I went with the Rugged Ridge. No complaints, they installed with no issues. Wanted something to cover that ridge, as the paint is all worn away at that point on my CJ5.

Just got my rugged ridge ones in the mail. They are also rubber material and flexible.

Happy with my Rugged Ridge sill covers too. Didn’t have to add any adhesive beyond the backing tape provided. Excellent coverage on the front. Rear ones could be longer but I haven’t seen any other brands that are any better.

Very happy with the Rugged Ridge sill covers. Did add adhesive promoter per the installation instructions.

I am, so far so good. Had the Mopar protectors on the JL, not much coverage there, but didn’t notice much wear on the paint before I sold it at 36K miles and almost three years old. Chose the RR set for more coverage.

i installed mine yesterday, rubber flexible, the only thing I dont really like is they dont seat 100% around the bolt area on the front doors, otherwise they look great. I also think I maybe should have not placed the rear ones as far forward as I did. They look good otherwise, and hopefully they do their job.

So far I'm pretty happy with the Amazon knock-offs I ordered. I"m a little worried about how long the adhesive will last, but I'll deal with that if it comes loose. So far, they're great.

I have a knock off pair that is pretty much identical to these ones, but this thread has me considering replacing them.

I really like how the others seem to go up and over that lip, as opposed to butting up against it. I feel the ones in the style that you and I have create a valley where debris can collect. Maybe im overthinking it but seems like a place where rust would form, etc.
